However if your going in for a set, you need to take some friends. Friends will stick around and might run the same dungeons to help you get that item you need. And then you can do the same for them. Friends are amazing... we can all likely use a few more.
I'm kind of thinking twelve people all doing this most of the posts never get read. Would just be a wall of armor pieces coming at you.

That's what drove the idea, lol. Everyone at the end of the trial linking the set pieces they got that they didn't need, then clicking on them and looking at the tooltip to see if you have it (if you have the addon) or sitting there with your sticker book open and manually looking each one up (no addon). Would be easier to just link the set like an achievement and others can see what you need, then offer to trade.
I'm always baffled how little trading there is among PuGs. Something like this would help. Really, though, all you need to do is "pay it forward". Give all the stuff you've already collected to someone else and they can do the same. This is by far the fastest way for everyone to collect everything rather than trying to figure out who needs what exactly. Most people don't get it, though, and, while it's viable in 4-man content, I'm not sure what the trading regime for trials would look like.cyclonus11 wrote: »It would be a big help if we could link our incomplete sets from the sticker book in chat, like we can achievements (like have a list of set pieces and have what we collected in white, and what we still need in gray). This would help immensely with communicating in dungeons/trials/guilds/zones what you need.
This is a great idea, although in a PuG I can imagine a scramble by greedy or clueless players. We had some gold Mother's Sorrow jewelry in our guild bank, once, until someone took out all the jewelry to level their crafting.I wish we had, at the end of each dungeon/trial, a chest where every player could drop the pieces they don't want and other players could take what they wanted freely.
But sure, the linkable sticker book would be great too!
