Looking for smart heals

Hey everyone! I'm looking to put together a small group of just support damage dealers that can speed run both pvp and pve content. I won't go into exact details of what I'm using because I don't want ZOS to nerf my plans before they can take off.

Lets just say I'll need to use "smart heals". If you know why please don't say in the comments. I don't want ZOS to "fix" this. Especially since only a group running specific builds could make what I have planned viable for pvp.

So if you know of any "smart heals" be them from ability or set please mention them in the comments. Much appreciated. :)

At this point, I think only the sorc matriarch might be the last smart heal. Cauterize possibly?

Mutagen and the restoration shield skill are both smart heals, as is the restoration staff ult. I'm pretty sure the necromancer pet pumps out smart heals too.

As far as I know, cauterize is still a smart heal. Necro and templar burst heals should still be smart but they require you to face certain directions, NB's still have their malevolent offering, which I'm pretty sure is a smart heal too but idk if you need to face a certain direction for it.

I think the warden's living vines are also smart and the heal from their polar wind morph should be smart too. I think templar's ritual of rebirth skill also smart heals. The heal from funnel health might also be smart but its been awhile since I've healed with a nb so I might be wrong.

Earthgore should still be smart and I think Battalion Defender is too.

I've never bothered testing/using warden's lotus flower or obsidian shard but they could be smart too.

I probably don't understand the question enough to really be answering, but maybe Obsidian Shard counts? I know it targets people who have the lowest health, and the burst heal potential is really up there. Only downside is it's a projectile that requires a target, but it's healing range is dictated by the target itself so you can heal people far outside the 28 meter range.

Doesn't basically every multi-target heal obey smart healing rules?

Like if you cast Illustrious Healing on 12 people and the group takes a Coldfire bolt, you will heal the six lowest group members during each tick. Same idea with like Combat Prayer except there's only one tick.

Unless this has been stealthily changed.

All aoe heals are smart. Some just require you to face a specific direction but still are smart. Just go sith mutagen tho

Most heals in eso are smart. At worst you are beholden to a 180 degree facing requirement, but a heal will always target an ally automatically based on a priorty system of health missing.

Ground based aoe heals are technically not smart in that you have to place them and they apply to any who stand within the radius, so they aren't aquiring targets to heal for you.

Your wording sounds devious, as if you know something is broken but want to exploit it to get an advantage over others.

Out of all the healing in the game, there is only one I can think of that isn't a self heal (https://eso-skillbook.com/skill/mend-wounds) that doesn't use Smart Healing. The rest use Smart Healing.

In this game, a "smart heal" is one that targets those who need it most, IE Combat Prayer hitting the 6 players who have missing health, rather than 6 random players. Are you maybe referring to something that might heal passively, like the Pale Order Ring?

The warden travel vine (nature's grasp/embrace) is another one, as it only heals the direct target, but they are few and far between.

    Good catch.

I am pretty sure combat prayer has a cap on how many targets it can hit. If there are more than the present the heal functions as a smart heal.
