Might be a stupid question(trial dummy)

I returned after a break and a lot of people now parse on the trial dummy from the back and not front. Did they ad some Universal extra damage to enemies from the back that apply to all and not just nightblades?

My only guess is that they may be using the Vateshran DW weapons?

It is just nb's. Probably people got used to it.

It's just generally considered polite, because if you parse from the front, the dummy has to watch you kill it

Also, if you're running orbs, you can parse from the side to get the most ticks out of it.

I think that was a myth. Seems to be the same number of ticks from the front or side.

I messed with parsing sideways for a bit, and I could not tell a difference with Orbs. There might be an optimal point you can stand from the side and get an extra tick, but admittedly, I sometimes tend to dance a bit when I parse. haha
