A question about mist form

I saw some people in BG that can press this "magic button" when they are about to die, let's say at 8% health, and become immortal, being able to stay in that state forever whitout taking any damage.
Is this working as expected?

If they are going into mist at 8% health they are "burstable". But just remember if someone is using mist for extended periods of time then they have a lot of sustain built in, which means they are giving up damage on most builds. The people that have built like that usually cant kill anyone.

Does no one use negate magic to bust mist form, it forces vampires out of mist form soon has they enter the bubble.

That's the thing a lot of people don't understand. If you meet a player who seems "immortal" while in Mist Form, it's not just Mist Form doing it. That person is making a huge investment into the ability itself and sacrificing probably all of their offense as well. Even then there are hard counters to the ability, like negate magic, knight slayer etc. You also can't even use the ability while holding the relic or chaos ball.

For those who think Mist Form makes you immortal - just go slot it in your regular build and then use it against someone and see how quickly you die. Mist Form doesn't make you immortal. Not even close. But it can be used by certain defensive builds to create a stubborn defense.
