More Land at Stillwaters Retreat

Has anyone been able to make it appear like there's more land and less ice that will melt when the weather warms within Stillwaters Retreat? I'd love to build there, but I can't get past the idea it'd all sink when the weather warms lol. I should specify, without using add-ons.

Ruhlf✭✭✭I haven’t bought that house - but I was thinking it might be fun to build structures on the ice as if they were meant to be in the water. So doing things like sinking pylons down through the ice, and building docks/walkways on top of those. Sort of like a little lake-town or fishing outpost that’s frozen over in the winter.
I know it’s not what you asked, but maybe it will inspire something cool.
Otherwise, you might be able to take some of the very large rocks and place them out as extended ground. The only problem is they won’t have snow on them, and might look a little strange - but once you cover them with what you want, it might be okay.2 -

You & I have built on a very similar theme. I’ll post mine as soon as the Xbox servers are back up. Very limited for space so I went with the huge Solitude wooden flooring instead of the stone.0 -
