Objects that cast shadows DO NOT cast those shadows onto water surfaces such as ponds and oceans. This means that if the sun is reflecting off the surface of your little pond, it will always reflect off the surface of your little pond -- even if you build that pond into an enclosure where the sun don't shine.

✭✭✭I'm thinking probably not. It's deeper than a housing issue. Water behaves like that globally in the game. It's probably a performance compromise. If you're on PC there may be a mod for that, though. 🤷♀️✨🐦✨ Blackfeather Court Commission ✨🐦✨1
