I used to do a lot of veteran dungeons up until I think it was marsh of sacrifices, that was my breaking point.
When I just sat there after who knows how many wipes wondering what on earth am I doing here. This isn’t fun, this isn’t even entertaining misery.
These days I prefer builders are actually fun to play as opposed to the build bottleneck full of angry people which let’s face it most veteran dungeons are.
No I gave up on veteran dungeons, I just do the random normal for the crystals now. If I see a DLC dungeon come up in the random finder I just do what most people do... drop out and hop onto another character.
My advice if you get a DLC dungeon in the random, vet or otherwise, is just drop out and go round again.
I’m here for the world, the stories and the lore. Anything else just gets in the way.
You’re not gonna get to hear the stories because even if you’re in a group that’s supposedly doing a story run there will always be some moron who simply skip through it all, you’re never going to get to read all the notes, you’ll almost certainly have absolutely no idea what you’re even doing other than “kill boss” and “skip”.
Sorry but I need a better story than that.
How about this, three types of dungeons,
1 drops massive piles of loot so that the PVP folk can get in and out as fast as possible only they’re always junk traits so they have to farm for at least a few transmute crystals
2 a setting where it’s roughly public dungeon difficulty so that you can go through solo and actually find out what the dam story is
3 hard mode where the dungeon essentially grabs hold of the players and kicks their teeth in, because that seems to be what the tiny thimble of regular vet dungeon running players actually are looking for

Wait I thought the hoarvor's in the spider round where meant to burst into Acid, not Poison, therefor the webs being destroyed?
That being said everything about the Argonian Behemoth round is utter bs.
