Please re-read the post and pay close attention to the part I have now bolded because it was overlooked by so many.
You'd still be able to farm gear for your alts with your main by spending a single point in the desired weapon/armor class. Since you're farming with your mains I'm sure you can spare a single point. This change would actually make farming for your alts easier.
Read the post, understand what you are saying.
I agree with others posting here.
NO
BAD IDEA
Well at least you know that you're saying no to getting loot faster with the same character.

I read it fine the first time thank you, my answer still stands. Also, it's REALLY annoying when you tag us like that, please don't do that again.

I know, I had to turn off the notifications temporarily when I get pinged, since every response to that post I get another notification. I haven't figured out if there's a way to disable it for just this post.

This is good food for thought but.. you mentioned the grinding..... monsters taking bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after bang after before they die.
I would like to see a more intellectual if not "worked for" set of achievements BEFORE we "QUALIFY" to take on certain beasts far more than is currently demanded.
That is to say (for instance of example)
in order to kill BOSS (A)
you need to have achieved a high rating in Quest (1)
and perhaps (1b)
discovered secret item (2)
out of a random suite of 4 obtainable...
of a certain level,
have travelled (x) many miles across (x) number of domains and countries......
are wearing armour type (X) specifically to fight Boss (A) and etc etc...
This way if you achieved these things and enjoyed all the adventures along the way and all their variations and diverisites SO MUCH THE BETTER.... the achievement of being able to qualify for a match with Boss (Q) would feel SO MUCH BETTER.....
than going Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang for 73 minutes..... inanely waiting for it to die.
The tollerance and perseverance for this (like getting all the bits for the Ebon Dwarven Wolf) would make the variety of experience so much richer than the mundanities currently at high levels.
But then what would I know. I'm just a Princess and very out of touch with lower Society and underlings.

I guess what I'm getting at is that there are 2 tiers to rarity in many ways. Body pieces which many people can acquire very easily and weapons which can take ages to acquire if you ever get the proper ones you're looking for.
Since weapons generally only drop once per dungeon off the end boss and occasionally in chests, it creates a massive bottleneck that has become much more apparent since the introduction of the stickerbook system.
I'd say that's where the main issue is.

I play a couple of characters more than others, they happen to be both stam DPS characters
What you are saying is unless I invest skill points into yet another line I wont get any mag or tank gear for my other characters. So if I always play tank in trials, Ill never get DPS or healer appropriate gear and cant further develop or gear those characters unless I invest skill points. Sorry but this is the dumbest idea ever imo. Id rather use my skill points for other more interesting things. Now I get gear that might be usable by characters other than the one I am playing and thats just fine by me. I can trade with others for other gear if I want to.
