Help to tweak my Werewolf

I've been running a Werewolf for pretty long, in a "survival build".. Now I'd like to incorporate some more damage for PvE..

What I run atm is 5 x Crimson, 5 x Alessia, 2 x Mighty Chudan
My cp are:
STEED:
Ironclad 72
Resistant 34
Medium Armor 2
LADY:
Thick Skinned 56
Hardy 37
Elemental Defender 37
LORD:
Quick Recovery 32
TOWER:
Warlord 56
Sprinter 9
Siphoner 1
LOVER:
Mooncalf 64
Healthy 56
SHADOW:
Tumbling 56
Shadow Ward 28
ATRONACH:
Master At Arms 81
Physical Weapons Expert 19
Shattering Blows 20
RITUAL:
Mighty 64
Precise Strikes 61
Piercing 14
APPRENTICE:
Blessed 11

Attriutes are 20 Stam and the rest is Health

All in all, it makes me pretty beefy, but I lack some punch.. I suppose the best way is to remove the Mighty Chudan set, to allow for the damage ring, but what would I replace it with? The 5.9K resistances are pretty nice

You could try that wild hunt mythic ring, instead of the 2 piece monster set. Since you can't use a mount in WW.

Run a Sharpened weapon and put more points into Piercing for more penetration.

I am more than fast enough.. as I mentioned, it is damage that I am lacking.. since WW form don't care about crit, the damage ring seems like the way to go

    1. Replace Chudan with Kena or Velideth.
    2. Try swapping Steed for Shadow (you can't have it all sorry, you should sacrifice some survivability for damage)
    3. 81 in master at arms is overkill reduce it to 66 and put the points into physical penetration.
    4. 61 in precise strikes is also overkill, go with something like 40 or 56 and put the points into physical pen (you have only 23% crit chance as a werewolf in heavy armor so better invest in pen)

Looking exciting, gonna take a look  my mundus stone is the Lord though, for HP.. but you would still not put in the malacath ring?

With the huge burst heal you have as a WW I would suggest giving up the Allesia and replacing it with a DD set that includes max stam bonuses, like Draugr Hulk or even Spriggans, to make the most of the WW passive.
The thing about trying to get your damage up by using the ring combined with tank sets is your damage is fairly low to begin with so boosting it 25% won't make nearly the impact that giving up some tankiness to increase your Max Stam or WD would.

This looks like pvp build, especially with the resistant CP.

What kind of pve are you interested in and what role?

If dps role in dungeons or trials then you'll need to completely change your sets, attributes and cps. DPS role shouldn't really have any defensive sets and all attribute in stamina.

    If overlands, don't bother changing.

In pve, crit is king for dps.

It is made for some PvP play too, since a WW is pretty good for distracting enemies while my team/friends do what they need to do.. so maybe the easiest solution is just to carry 2 sets, changing them around when I have to

What I am interested in, is simply some more damage for regular overland PvE play.. yes he can tank a World Boss with no issues, but killing it takes a long time

I've never played WW, but the standard overland dps set for stam classes are hundings rage, briarheart with selene monster set.

I would very much prefer to keep the 2 5 piece sets

I don't think you can reach a noticable damage difference by just swapping out your monster set or adding in malacath band.

Sorry but what you're asking isn't achievable without respecing attributes and cp. It sounds like you're better off making a new toon for this.

Maybe is too much built as a survivor tank.. but it's not rare to hear people complain about werewolves in PvP, saying that they are capable of both taking a lot of damage, AND dealing it out.. anyone got an idea of what those builds are then.?

Probably threw some proc damage sets on while also taking advantage of the 10k extra stamina, which is equal to about 1,000 effective weapon damage. Build is probably a hybrid tank/DPS with it leaning more towards DPS to get the damage to kill people, while also using the Major Expedition buff to kite.

You have to look at that in perspective. A high health target in PvP has 40K, any semi hardy PvE enemy starts at 600K. Between dots, defiles, fears, off balance, and Howl it's easy to pressure a single PvP target to death quickly, even wearing one defensive set to stay tanky. The toolkit isn't as ideal for long drawn out PvE encounters with lots of mobs.

Highly recommend this. Its really defensive, I don't remember the last time I got hit by a puddle aoe. Also with 5 med you move so quick its like perma sprint. Its great for speed runs and farming mats too.
