ZOS,

I KNOW that you want people to buy your expansions, and I KNOW that this is a marketing tactic. However, its annoying as having someone stick fire hot needles in your skin to get items that you can't do anything with pop up. You used the same tactic with Summerset and jewelry nodes. but at least i could TRADE those. So please either make the leads tradeable or just make them something that only occurs when you have the indicated Chapter/DLC. Thank you.

You also can see thieves troves without owning the Thieves Guild dlc. And pick up the pieces for the Precursor without Clockwork City. It's just simpler to make those available for everyone.

If you know that this is a marketing, why do you bothered it then?

I actually appreciated having the leads drop before I owned the chapter. Once I bought it, in the sale, I had a long list of gold leads to scry and excavate, and I had my first Ring of the Wild Hunt within minutes of reaching level 8 in scrying.

They take up no inventory space. Why does it matter?
The Unshattered - Tenacious Dreamer - Hurricane Herald - Xalvakka's Scourge - Godslayer - Dawnbringer - Gryphon Heart - Tick Tock Tormenter - Immortal Redeemer - Dro-m'Athra Destroyer
The Unchained - The Brilliant - Moth Trusted - The Just - Oathsworn - Bedlam's Disciple - Temporal Tempest - Curator's Champion - Fist of Tava - Invader's Bane - Land, Air, and Sea Supremacy - Zero Regrets - Battlespire's Best - Bastion Breaker - Ardent Bibliophile - Subterranean Smasher - Bane of Thorns - True Genius - In Defiance of Death - No Rest for the Wicked - Nature's Wrath - Undying Endurance - Relentless Raider - Depths Defier - Apex Predator - Pure Lunacy - Mountain God - Leave No Bone Unbroken - CoS/RoM/BF/FH Challenger

While I agree with your last statement, I can't disagree more with the possibility of trading leads. There a number of issues it could cause, but the most important is playing selling Leads like:

    - Malacaths Brutal Rune Core for Malacath’s Band of Brutality mythic from Imperial City to non-PvP players;
    - Order-Etched Gallery Rail for Ring of the Pale Order from Bad Man's Hollow a lot of people are having super-bad RNG to get or perhaps Aurmine Ancestral Signet from Bangkorai chests
    - Coral Planting or Sticky Integument Leather for Thrassian Stranglers, respectively, fishing and through Psijic Portals

Removing the expiration is more than enough, so players could buy DLCs at their own pace, one by one, but still get Leads from core maps to use a few months later when they finally decide to buy Greymoor

Yeah...not to be rude or anything OP, because I get the frustration of not being able to do them, but you're never prompted to go into the leads collection tab at all. They don't take up space. Heck, you don't even get a reminder when they're about to expire (which would actually be useful ijs).

It won't be long now until Greymoore is part of the ESO+ package. Surely you can endure the inconvenience of having lead pick-up info pop up for a few seconds a a small corner of your screen for a little bit longer.

Lucky those who have no other problems than such as this.

Agreed. It won't happen, but agreed.

The decision not to make leads tradable was ... well, it's one of many decisions that have been made in the design of this game that make no sense. Realistically, antiquarians would be able to trade leads with each other. Worse, making the antiquities system account-based rather than character-based (which tradable leads would have supported really well) makes the experience of being an antiquarian on a second character rather... flat. I was super disappointed when I realized that all the lore entries and everything were account wide, so I couldn't have a new character independently go through the discoveries as if it was the first time. There's just a few elements of the system that were not particularly well thought out, with non-tradable leads being one of them.

Have you ever watched any of Indiana Jones' movies? If so, did Dr Jones ever (willingly) traded information regarding the item he and his colleagues were after to the movies' antagonists? Of course not! An Antiquarian is nothing more than a fancy Treasure Hunter. One very hardly would trade valuable information to another because that could mean the fatal loss of the item depending on how the other part could interpret it.

It is an incentive though to make those not wanting ESO+ "at all" to at least buy it once in a while to refill said bag. So in the end still having the bag after ESO+ expired without the ability to refill it, is making ZOS more money than to remove it when ESO+ expires. Or what else were you after with your complain?

Well, and it takes to actually get to know the benefits of the crafting bag, in order to miss those feature when ESO+ expires. So what is so annoying to you about it then??- it is not as if you couldn't do it like they do - not that I would suggest it, I'm clearly in favor of ESO+.
