Getting Kicked Due To PC Crash vs. Voluntary Kick - Need A Fix

My PC crashed from a BG event, and I get the ticket submit screen. So, if this happens, why do I get a penalty, but more importantly, I'd like my group members to know I just didn't Rage Quit in the middle of a fight.
