Did this mythic item ever find a home? I tried it with lamia and shalk’s in pvp but it wasn’t what I was hoping for. So any recommendations or builds where this ring is a fun addition? I’d like to use it somewhere, it’s just sitting in my bank right now.

Also, has Zos asked for, or responded to, any feedback on this item? It’s an item I want to like but my experience with it was disappointing.

Even just looking at the effect it seems so underwhelming. If your resource is that low you're probably in trouble soon and a little ult gen isn't much. There's also no spammable heal that I know of thats so cheap you can keep using it under low resource.

Too many problems to even consider it, even though I do like the idea.

My view is biased towards Dragonknights when I look at things but I can see this set being used to quickly get ultimate to proc the Battle Roar passive. Would be great on a magDK healer for instance but that's only me theory crafting. I found myself rarely dipping that low on my magDK healer to make use of it.

It works for tanky PvP builds (mainly disrupters) but ultimately is outclassed by other ult gen sets because of how difficult it can be to proc. What I did was make stamina my main resource. It doesn't have to be by a lot. Only need it to be higher by 1. You then hold block below 30% and spam mutgen or another Magicka heal.

Problem is it is outclassed by other sources of ult gen, it can be difficult burning stamina in a pinch and holding block really slows you down over a long period of time.

A few healers do use it in Cyrodiil though.

I put it on for a few weeks on a low magicka (~30k), high magicka regen Templar ... and the Barrier uptime was quite nice.

Being below 30% magicka is just a different playstyle you have to manage.

At that point I'd just wear a minor heroism set instead. No need for low resource. I'm sure it's doable but not my style at all.

Nothing but the nightblade passive allows that.

Nothing but the nightblade passive allows that.

Necromancer can also gain ultimate outside of combat by using corpses. So you've tested the Pearls and it doesn't allow you to generate ultimate outside of combat?

Edit: Nevermind, looks like the description specifically states it needs to be in combat.

Why wear a 5-piece set for minor heroism if you can get something better with a one-piece mythic item ... and then wear another 5-piece like Spell Power Cure?

Sure, it's not a playstyle for everyone.

This set is ridiculously niche and I've yet to really make a successful build with it despite a great deal of effort.

I didn't see it mentioned, but Nightblades can proc this using Offering for a "resource-free" means of activating it (of course, you still have all the downsides of playing <30% on your primary resource).

At least i would have constant ult gen without a 30% resource minigame while also spamming heals for ult. It still looks bad.

I used it on a pve healer to have permanent uptime of barrier or warhorn in dungeons.
I find this item too intrusive how it dictates me to play. Spamming heals is not necessary normally. I place down my grand healing, keep orb up, combat prayer every few seconds and then usually heavy attack or disable enemies and only use a burst heal when needed.

With this item ,I just spam heals for no reason really. I think it works for what it is intended for. Just that I personally do not enjoy the playstyle. I feel forced to fake myself.
