I wish we had more double xp events

✭✭✭✭✭We have XP evens about every other month. We get XP boosts from our daily login rewards. If we have our twitch linked I think we get XP boosts from the drop ouroboros crates from watching streams or Zos when drops are active.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭Honestly? I get to the end of an event like this one... (I have 12 tickets on both accounts, on both PC megaservers) and I can't be bothered to log in on every character to use the mead. Seriously. I have so many characters, it's not worth my time to log them in to use the memento. New Life is not the event where I log everyone in and do writs every day.
That's jubilee. And by the time THAT'S done, I want to cut the throats of all my characters.7 -

✭✭✭✭I'm not sure I care. All my characters are max level, at least on my main account. I've leveled most skills they'd ever use to at least the morph point. And with the Rapid Maneuvers situation, I may never level a new character again.0 -

Plus several smaller events where you only get double xp and loot.
And release anniversaries of DLC areas.

Its great for alts and lvling skills. Even if you have 810 cp.4 -

Nobody forces you to do the entire event completely. I don't even understand why you torture yourself to burnout!
The length of the events is imho good, it makes it possible to participate in the event for everyone who did not have time to participate from the very beginning or even from the middle. Everyone who is bored of event just stop to play this event and that's it.Let's be extremely precise in our use of terms.4 -

✭Personally I'd be happy if they did away with double xp events, they really are not needed as its easy enough to get CP810 anyway. I've many characters below level 50 and I'm quite happy not to run double xp scrolls on them or take advantage of double xp events. Why? Because they are my random normal runners. Means when we do a random to get the transmute crystals we don't get a dlc, when they hit 50 that will end as they are all level 50 crafters, and we will get the odd random dlc thrown into the transmute runs, but hopefully by then I won't need more than the 850 a month I can get from PvP (plus those from pledges and trials, etc)0 -

No, maybe I am wrong. I'm not sure now... But I can remember there was a simple non-themed double xp weekend in November or so? Why is it a problem that needs fixing?
Play the event or don't play the event.
As stated above, many people don't live in the game, and probably don't have the time over a multi-week event to log more than 6 hours total.
Anyone with so much time on their hands that they'd rather not get burned out on an event is always free not to do the event.The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.2 -

I totally agree with you. It will always be a problem that there's too much content for some users, too little for others, too many events, not enough events, depending on how much time someone has, personal play style, and so on - and of course, the developers can't cater to everyones personal wishes.
