Hi

I Have to begin here by saying that i am not level 50 yet.

I am currently struggling to find interest in this game at level 25. It does not feel like an MMO at all. Grouping is pointless due to the phasing system, and well the quests themselves are just mostly boring and linear.
Enemy NPC's are fairly dumb with the way they aggro also. They aggro when you stand x distance away yet when you ride right past them they don't even seem to see you.
Enemy NPC's in the game seem to drop the same thing.....1 or maybe 2 gold. Item drops need to be random! I want this game to make me WANT to do the quests for their enjoyment and not do the quest because i NEED to for progression.

The UI is pretty useless for PC users. There needs to be optional hotbars that i can equip shortcuts to for emotes and things like pots. The current idea of pressing q and having to cycle to a different item to use during combat is very clunky. I understand this is designed to be a console port and that the circle thingy might suit a ps4 or xbox controller, but it does not suit a PC. Just give me a hotkey please.

The inventory is broken also at the moment. Bags are a mess with all the different mats required especially for provisioning, and just trying to sort out what i have regarding a profession is painful. Tabs for different profession items are a must please.

And finally fishing, whats the point of it? I don't have a recipe for any type of fish.. am i supposed to just vend them, and why do i need to fish out of a tiny spot when most of the map borders coastline, is the ocean not full of fish?

I agree with all your objective points and fundamentally disagree with your subjective ones .. I'm loving the game, warts and all, it'll be great once the initial problems are fixed as I know they will be.

Bah. If you don't like the game, you don't like the game. Every game is not for everyone. I don't understand why people insist on demanding a game be custom tailored to their personal preferences.

ESO meets at the middle with this, too.

Using addons, players can customize quite a bit about the game.

Complaints about the UI could likely be addressed by using an addon such as Azurah to customize the layout, as well as any number of other addons that add various doodads.

Personally I like to keep my screen as clean as possible while I play, so I can enjoy beautiful Tamriel. ESO's minimalistic design is a breath of the freshest air for me.

Ok, a few things, one, the UI was set before they decided to port this to consoles, so get that out of your head. Two at least learn how to use the system before bashing it. once you get it down, it becomes easy as hell, and desn't require me to move my fingers from the WASD keys, which I think was the real reason behind the current design.

These are actually quite good and valid points. I especially like the quest point and agree with it. The quests in this game are terrible. They lack the wow factor, they lack significance, they lack meaning and they are all but copies with different skins.

I don't do them because I like them. I do them because I have to and that, if something should be a sign for developer that their content design is not good. Some may, of course, like the quests but I personally don't find them being that good to be honest and yet, they are practically mandatory no matter what style you want to make.

This goes back to another thread that discussed about how the leveling is messed up in this game and is against ZoS vision of how players should play the game. There is no reliable way to be a solely blacksmith in the game unless you go trough the content.

I don't know why someone would want to play like that but it should be there as an option when ZoS vision was to play how you like to play. The famous Bethesda line. Well if you would want to be a blacksmith, then screw you, you can't reliably anyways.
