I mentioned this very idea in another vampire thread. It would make playing a vampire EVEN MORE immersive. Not to mentioned the porting animation is so boring and bland looking and has been the same for years.

I just feel like so many ideas were left out of the vampire update and fear that the decs are so focused on just churning out mindless content that they aren’t putting any passion in it. If they only came to us the players and simply looked at some ideas we’ve come up with and used a few of them I think vamps would be in a better place. I’ve seen some really cool ideas on these forums about vamps and I just don’t understand why they haven’t used a few of them.

Depends. I really like the ingame vampire but playing as a vampire kinda sucks

Just do what I did with werewolf. Get the form, go into a large group of enemies, farm them for experience, and once you get werewolf rank 10 cure it.

For vampire you level it up faster at max level and with Greymoor slotting abilities helps it level up even faster. Save your daily dungeon and battle grounds to power level it while equipped with an experience boost. New Life is active right now so it's a great time to do it! Then after hitting level 10 vampire just cure it.

FUN FACT:

You can play as a traditional TES Vampire by not taking any stage based passives nor the Blood Scion ultimate, at that point feeding will only make you weaker and grant virtually no benefits, starving yourself would make you stronger.
