When I was starting this game, back in 2014 all I knew is that other players can infect you with Vampirism or Lycanthropy. So I had this image of whole guilds dedicated to doing this and force other ppl to become Vamps or WWs. I also knew that once you have one (Vamp or WW) - you are immune to any infections. I had no idea that this can only be done on a specific shrine and there is a cooldown for it. Also, I had no idea that this can be cured at all. So, out of those two, I have chosen WW. All I knew was that when Moon is redish - bloody, WW mobs spawn. When It is pale - white - then Vamp mobs spawn. Back then there weren't many guides. So I was trying to find special WW mobs for a long time and one night - I did it.
So in short: My character become WW long time ago, solely for a reason not to become vamp...

I've never been crazy about TES vampires (except for the Vampire Lord) and ESO vampires were even more bland than normal. Greymoor took them from bland to outright bad. Couldn't cure my character fast enough.

But seriously, neither for me because playing a monstrous character just isn’t my thing.

I endorse vampire changes but refuse to play a character with all those veins popping out, it really grosses me out (it's well done, but I have an irl problem with blood).
Werewolves are cool. My Templar feels conflicted though, because while he actively hunts the 4 abominations (vampires, daedra, undead, manbeasts), he has succumbed to Hircine's calls...
