master alchemy/enchanting writs.

I got like 17 xp scrolls stored, so I was wondering got a lvl 17 DK which I would like to level and my magnecro cp208. Farm Dolmens or RND’s?
IF you have crowns and gold for it just do master writs lvling and buy skyshards and skillines. You will have a char from zero to fully ready in an hour from creation. Prep work, buy masterwrits, Craft glyphs and stack up on solvents and reagents to lvl enchanting and alchemy.

I find the super-fast leveling design leads to spending more time obtaining skill points via sky shards and such which means it was not a very fast way to level up a character to begin with.

@idk
I tend to agree, which is why I prefer a combo approach. That said, a level 50 character with no sky shards does have enough points for a very minimal build, but you are almost certainly leaving some passives on the table, and having more than one set of skill bars is pretty rough. You also have enough points to park a toon for crafting writs.
What I usually do is something like this for my last 7-8 toons.
Login, skip tutorial. Use my friends/guild list to port to as many way shrines as I can for about 10-15 minutes, which will get you to level 5 or 6. I then throw on training gear until I hit level 10, usually by doing dolmens (one time each) in the first few zones and grabbing some shards along the way. In the past, I would grab rapids at that point, but RIP.
As was pointed out above, power leveling in this game is stupid, as all you are doing is delaying the grind for skills, which doing at level 50+ with no skills is painful. You are considerably more powerful at lower levels with decent gear, food & potions than you are at level 50. Zoom... you are 50... OMG I can't kill crap or carry my own weight to do anything.
If on the other hand you are high CP on your mains and can afford to buy all the skyshards you previous completed on them to get those skill points for your newbie, go for it.
