how does solo arena score works

after watching some youtube i saw in comments there that the trash mobs give score in Vateshran Hollows. So i have some question regarding the score:

1) is it better to skip the empowering orbs and go directly to bosses?
2) killing trash mobs in-between bosses are worth killing for score?
3) if i kill the gate-keeper and the trash ads despawn, do they grant score as if killed?
4) do side bosses give enough score to be worth killing?

any other advice regarding the score? i know in vMA time is the most important, i get 580k score in 38 minutes, but here i got only 237k in 32 minutes and i saw scores of 300k+. Not using sigils is an obvious default. I know i could have just tested all these myself, but information is better written than observed, and skips the testing time.

i have exact;y the same situation and some of those questions... stuck at about 285000 points and 38 minutes atm and trying to find out how the score works to get it a bit higher; i'm really curious how much the hidden bosses will add and if its worth the time

I did notice that the score gets higher if the trash mobs are killed before the miniboss they accompany is killed So despawn is lower score...

yes i tested myself and if u kill the gate boss and trash mobs despawn, it doesn't give u score for them as when you kill them directly

and about your score, 285k is quite high for 38 minutes, so u have something to hide here. A 300k+ score is 20-25 minutes.

my 280k score in 41 minutes was with 1 miniboss, and my 296k score without minis was i think a bit below 30 minutes.

generally adds should be killed, if u make them despawn (through passing the stage) u dont get points. so make sure that all small adds are dead before finishing off the mini boss.

also biggest time-wise score boost i know of is the big skelly before last boss, that guy gives u 15k before bonuses. takes half a minute tops to kill. ez points.

It could be that use of portals and crossbow adds to the score somehow. I also am curious if being thrown back at the wounding portals is just a time punishment or also a score punishment. I can do all portals without being thrown back but usually im thrown back one or 2 times at the second one.

About my score and time i can only say that i make sure to kill all ads, also the ones in the hidden part of the Wounding, near the hidden boss. And i kill all fire atros in the Brimstone Den that are in the lava and can easily be avoided. I had scores over 280k with more than 40 minutes runs and lower scores for runs under 40 minutes so im aware that there are other elements playing a role, just dont know all of it. I do kill the Colossus in the Brimstone Den as it is shown on screen its a lot of points...
