Did you seriously just say that you don't understand that in order for someone to get crowns for gold those crowns must be bought from ZOS first?
Look:
A has a ton of gold and zero IRL money, 0 crowns, they want an assistant for 5k.
B doesn't' have gold but a ton of IRL money, 0 crowns, want nothing from crown store.
Scenario 1: no crown trading.
A doesn't buy crowns because they don't have money.
B doesn't buy crowns because they want nothing from crown store.
0 crowns bought from ZOS.
Scenario 2: with crown trading.
A gives B some amount of gold.
B buys 5k crowns and gifts A an assistant.
5k crowns bought from ZOS.

✭ZOS makes a tremendous amount of money from people buying gold with crowns. If they banned this it would hurt their bottom line, for this reason they will never disallow trading crowns for gold. They will never comment extensively on it, and this comment will very likely be deleted.2 -

They come in a variety of size
A cown box of 2000 would cost 2000👑
People could safely buy them via the existing trader system
Opening the box would add the specified amount of crown to your account(wich if oppened by mistake could be use to buy a crown box of the same amount)

This would be a much nicer, safer method than what we have. Unfortunately I think they like to control the crown supply via crown store items sales too much to do it, but it would be nice.2 -

✭✭waAre you aware that people are using in game gold in attempts to buy crowns? If not you should be.
I do not know any company that sell things on their store, and then let players totally undermine the sale of said items by allowing this type of garbage to happen.
it's bad enough players abuse mechanics, but now you're actually allowing players to get out of paying for actual items.
I also want to point out that, people have been banned for using CheatEngine mainly because it allows the duplication of gold. So if people are going to be banned for using cheat engine, what's to stop them from doing it again and dropping all that gold off to another character and deleting the character it was done with. Then buying infinite crowns with that duped gold?
No matter how many axes you try to grind on the forum today it's not going to help you level up crafting any faster.4 -
