Please provide a high level insight on CP rework

A simple request, can we get a high level brief insight into the CP rework. Will it go away, will it be progression path the game is currently lacking?

I ask because if the intent is to have no more vertical progression in this game I would like to know so I can look for another game. Please do the right thing and just inform us so we the players may make informed choices about the games we play.

I agree. However, being that it's been nearly 2 years since the cap increases stopped, I'm not holding my breath for them to actually replace it after all.

They either forgot about it, or are hoping with enough time we will.

They've been too busy trying to fix the multitudes of loading and bluescreen crashes these past years.

No.. no they haven't they could build a stone pyramid to scale by hand with just the dev crew long before they fix anything with the game...

With the reconstruction system in place, ZOS might go back to earning levels instead of CP. You will still have to grind out transmutation stones, so it will still be a pain but there's always some kind of a grind when leveling.

If they are to do this they'll have to warn us like a year or two in advance. They promised they would and there are plenty of players who remember that promise.

I also remember hearing something the CP rework was next year. Don't remember if the news was official or not so don't quote me on it.

They said something like they'd have something to show next year, IIRC, and it's not the next year yet. I wouldn't wait for an update until the season's reveal in January at least.
Especially I wouldn't expect them to answer such a "request".

This is bound to be the next big disappointment for us.

Everyone is expecting a big change.

Like the other "rework" changes (Class Identity, Racial Rework, Skills Audit, Vampire Rework, etc), pretty sure they will just move some things around and cut the values by like 60% and call it a day.

Agree. Seeing as they used +2 months with testing trying to get global cooldown on AoE well I don't want them to try to do major changes.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

You should have heard them harp on about how they will be "reworking champion points" and what not. And then an absolute silence on it.

    Hopeless.

Yep, then u grind to max, recraft everything u need, grind more stones for the next increase. Thats when i uninstall that game and will never bother to look back.

So i hope we get a somewhat early look at the next big disappointment.

You don't have to regrind stones. Deconstructing something that was reconstructed refunds the gems. You will have to grind crafting mats, but those aren't really an issue unless we are talking about jewelry upgrade materials...

Also I really don't think they are going to be taking this path, because those lvl cap increases would hardly matter. They aren't going to undo One Tamriel and add levels back to zones, so the scaling system that allows you to play with your friends regardless of level stays. So at that point the max level will be just as strong as the previous max level, so they have achieved nothing except adding more inconveniences to the game.

    CP change = Cyber Punk

Would luv to see some good communication but CP should be left alone. Especially after the year of the famous performance fixes.

I still play eso and PvP. The game is really causal now but still enjoyable. CP should still be the one fun area left to tweak for the longtime players, so leave it alone imo.

I would too considering how inaccessible the new set collections system really is. Character/gear levels ceased to have any meaning after One Tamriel scaled everything dynamically - both should have been gotten rid of entirely as they are artifacts of an old progression system that now serves no real gameplay purpose. At this point, the only reason to do something like level increases would be to create another addiction system.
