Mice having aim priority?

I'm using a controller to play ESO on PC, and I have no idea if this is specific to me/us but it's extremely frustrating/annoying that every single attack I do ALWAYS hits mice, crawlers, spiders etc. first despite not even aiming on them. And I really do mean ALWAYS, as if they have aiming priority or something. Is there a way to make them nontargetable?

I know right? I also wish I could do something about aim priority. When playing PvP, god forbid I fight a warden with his bear out. Everything ranged I throw out hits the bear instead of the warden. Sorc twillight and atro aren't as bad as they are not trying to get into melee range with you so they do not automatically move to the front of their caster, making him pretty much untargetable like that damned bear.

I've noticed this most with sorc's streaking away. You ALWAYS hit that white ball they leave behind and never them now.

Yep. There's a mob of people attacking me, but you go ahead and target that rat. Not just sorcs, have had the same issue on nightblades too.

I thought that was intentional - the bear is basically tanking for the warden.

I was fighting a couple of enemies today, when I cat decided to wander in between them, and since I'd feel very bad for killing a cat, I actually had to wait until the cat had wandered off. I'd gladly appreciate it if there was an option to prevent killing animals such as cats (unless they are the big ones that attack first) or other small creatures

It's a nightmare in delves. I keep aiming for the trash and I hit the pests all the time. It's not about difficulty, it's just really really irritating.

Last night I was in a delve up on a scaffolding, tried to light attack some evil doer and hit some little critter through the scaffolding and on the level below me. First time I've had that happen. I nuke spiders in delves all the time though when trying to hit a skeleton.
    Free bait I suppose.

Whatever has the highest % of health gets the un-aimed target priority. If the boss is 60% health with 20K and that mouse is 100% health with 100 health, that mouse has a higher priority then the boss.

I`ve had mice off to the right a bit and hit them instead of the target that i`m pointing at.

I don’t think you can kill domestic cats or dogs in ESO

I hope you know that the "ball" is because the sorc isn't using the morph "Streak" but the other morph, called "Ball of Lightning". Ball of Lightning intentionally absorb projectiles but can't stun (unlike Streak).

Isn't that intended as one of the morphs

Not specific to controllers. I use K+M and had this happened a lot. There were times where I saw the attack from my staff make a 90 degree curve to kill a bug/rat, and even times where as I walk toward a mob, the attack ray does a 180 and hits something behind my toon.

Yes, no matter if the 1-health critter is behind me or across the space behind the monster, it dies even if I didn't see it and even if I am targeting the monster. The hit box on those tiny things must be huge. I'd like to toggle off hitting 1-health critters please.

I thought ZOS had fixed this issue a long time ago? But that might not be the case since it "still" exists.

I love when there's the boss surrounded by a group of adds and you could hit literally any single one of them that your crosshair is on but instead you watch as your attack veers off to the left and nukes a centiepede.

If I had a nickel for each time I ambushed a crawler, spider, rat, or the like, I'd have $57.45 by now.
