Did I Just Lose Today's Tickets?

I was in a Fungal Grotto 1 run. I picked up the quest and the group was far ahead before I knew it. I got killed twice during both bosses and couldn't even loot the final boss before I was kicked because things ended.

Did I just lose my only chance at 3 tickets today?

Who thought this system is a great way to play group content if so? Why were so many hostile goblins still hanging around after the chief was dead?

This is VERY annoying after 2 other days of missing them.

Are they trying to get me to quit the game?

EDIT: I re-ran and the SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN!

Come on, fix the system! Give me the tickets and let me get them no matter what. Quit resetting the quest as well!

This is a perfect scenario where a pre-made group is better than using the dungeon finder, @FlopsyPrince.

That way the group knows going in that you're doing the quest and might be behind.

You just need to kill any dungeon last boss - so try again!
(if you dont get the gold crate and tickets - then contact support)

That is not a good solution for many of us.

The system should work, not fail!

Well, no tickets, but at least I got the quest finished the 2nd time.

Why do some keep pushing the "group content" thing when that is not the way modern MMOs work? Speedruns throw that for a loop with the pickup group concept that is also supposed to be a part of MMOs.

EDIT: This does happen and we have to live with it, but stop thinking a pre-made group is the solution!

Unfortunately it's really difficult to do the quests during this event, because people want to do the dungeons fast just to get the box and event tickets.

It might be better to wait until the event is over before you attempt to do the quests, if you're using dungeon finder. I try to be considerate of people who are doing the quests, but not everybody is.

Literally just run it on normal solo. It's the easiest tickets in the game.

I believe Tech Support made it right in this case. I forgot to note exactly how many tickets I had at the start of the day, but I had 10 today, so I think they gave me at least 3.
