letter to all friends or automated answer to letters of the ingame mailing system

Hey

Is there an option to send a letter to all my friends on the list? Or to sent those who write to me an automated answer? In case of longer absence or so.

You are asking for useful things, but no, there is nothing like that in the rudimentary mail system in this game. There isn't even a "reply" button, and our inboxes still fail to refresh unless we teleport to a different zone. The mail interface has not been touched since release, so I don't think anyone is doing anything about that particular part of the game.

thank you for your kind answer. my friend cannot play for some time and after i sent him a letter today i saw there is already an answer from him adressed at all his friends, the subject was Re: and my subject, but the timestamp was 15 hours ago, so i wondered what happened, if he wrote that in advance und used the same subject or if it was an automated answer.

If you are on PC, you might look at the add-ons used by guild leaders to send mail. Be aware that those can sometimes cause ZOS to think your account is sending too many messages too quickly, which can trigger an automated social ban.

There are addons that can make automated replies and / or batch mails. If playing on PC, your friend might have used one of them.
