Do you want the devs to bring back game mode choice in Battlegrounds?

This has been talked and talked about for some time now, but i am not sure i have seen a poll around, so i wanted to see how it turns out.

Here is my take. I feel like the game is slowly going a direction , i not only dislike but hate with a passion. More and more if feels that ESO i becomming a game , which tells you how and what to play. For the sake of their other game modes being dead, except capture the flag and deathmatch, they decided to force you into playing their boring (in my opinion, if you like them that's fine) game modes. In a way they are punishing the pvp community for their own bad game design. Do you know why no one used to play your game modes, because they were, are and always will be boring to the majority of pvp players. If you want us to play something else then by all means create a game mode that is not annoying to endure.
I also have a theory , that they did this to hide the huge unbalance of the game's classes. You can''t notice someone is stronger that you , if you are running around the map with tunnel vision for a small ball or a flag. You can actually finish a whole game , with no more than 1-2 fights with another player. I think it's boring, annoying and i don't want to see another crazy king ever again. Not to mention deathmatch games are like nowhere , you never ever get them... well maybe one a week if you only play bgs.

I think it's fair that anyone could play his or her favorite game mode in battle grounds.

Only had 1 deathmatch since patch, though the builds I went in with were usually ones you would use in a deathmatch and not a chaosball game.

If choosing game mode means no group queue anymore, then keep it how it is now.

Nearly every BG turns into a DM regardless of which mode you get...

Don't get me wrong, I like DM but when I want to do that, I want to be able to choose it and when I want to do a relic hunt, I'd like to have team mates doing their job...

To a degree yes, but then you get people who makes builds for that exact game style.. as it is now, people don't know what they are gonna face, so their builds are not as specialized.. to me that seems more fair

Yea i agree that some people did that. But is it really a bad thing? A player preparing himself is bad? If anything we come back to the terrible balance of the game. It's not the player's fault for finding game mechanics that are op. It's the developers fault for keeping them in the game for years now.

It ia a bad thing imo yes.. A player preparing is fine, in Cyrodiil for instance, or for a place where he knows exactly what he has to do.. but the BG arenas were made to be randomized, so the chances were as equal as possible to all players.. if you remove that, it would be a step back towards people steamrolling others

Yes, exactly what we need - choices.

What we had before (mode choices but no groups allowed, only solo) was bad.
What we have now (groups/solo but only random, no mode choice) is bad.
What many people propose (DM-only queue or DM with higher chance of appearing in random queue) is bad again.

Let us choose the mode we want and stop being so stubbornly stick to idea of optimizing queue times. We'd wait even 30 minutes for a good match with mode of our choosing.

PS: My favourite mode is Capture the Relic.

You can have solo/group queue or you can have game mode option ... but you can't have both.

Having both would result in much longer queue times for everyone.

So, the obvious choice is "no".

Let us choose the mode we want and stop being so stubbornly stick to idea of optimizing queue times. We'd wait even 30 minutes for a good match with mode of our choosing.

Please feel free to share your in-game data that shows queue times would only be minimally affected ...

I just like flag games. Just make a tutorial for using battleground finder for new people to add to population
