What is the difficulty of Craglorn Group Delves in comparison to regular Delves and Public Dungeons?

I feel like the Group Delve is a mini-Public Dungeon but then I could be wrong as to the difficulty of the bosses between the two.

The difficulty is a little higher than in the open world. The only difference for me is, that some of the Craglorn ones you can only complete with more than one person as for mechanics.

I say they are more like normal group dungeons, they are definitely much harder than public dungeons.
They are limited to 4 players and are instanced like group dungeons too so you will not get help but will also not get disturbed.
If you have problem ask in guild or zone if some want to do them, with 2 players they are easy.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

+1, ZOS took the initiative couple of years ago and reworked all Craglorn content to be soloable mechanics-wise. They even reset all quests for old players so they can experience them again.

The group delves can be a bit hard for new players, and even veterans can die on main bosses if they don't pay attention. These bosses compare to regular World Bosses with the difference that they usually have less HP to burn down.

Yes, the old system was horrible, to do the quest you had to have some on your quest level to do it.
Not like the group dungeon quests you can do even if none other need it.

I compared them with normal group dungeons as the mobs also are harder.

ok to be honest it has been a while i've done any dungeons in Craglorn. Maybe they changed the mechanics. I remember one where you had to stand on 3 or 4 plates for a door to open for example.

If they changed it, my bad ;)

Craglorn = everything is a bit more difficult, both overland and public dungeon wise.

Straight up Delvs though, I have not noticed much difference really, there are some super easy ones.

In my experience, they're easier or as easy as normal delves. I guess they used to be hard at some point but the whole craglorn has been nerfed so much now that there are these places where they made it even easier than "normal" content.

The only thing in the Craglorn delves that's a bit harder than a normal delve is the boss, and that's only by a little. They are almost as hard as a group dungeon boss.

I just attempted the Craglorn for the first time with my DK and Necro. It was easier on my DK than Necro to crowd control in open world. I found the bosses in the Craglorn delves a bit more difficult than a regular delve. I found it doable to solo with my DK but it was much more tedious because of crowd control. Personally, I felt like it was good practice for group dungeons if I transition to pure DPS build in the future.

I just recently did Craglorn on a new-ish character (fully leveled) and i did the whole zone solo.
All quests, achievements, locations, overland bosses, group dungeons, everything.

I have to say that i thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the difficulty level.

The normal delves in Craglorn I've found to be comparable to normal delves anywhere else in the game, I wouldn't say they're noticeably harder.

The group delves - the ones which are instanced and have the little + on their icon - I think are more comparable to public dungeons elsewhere in the game. Groups of enemies are often bigger and will all attack at once and bosses have more health and do more damage. I'm not able to complete them solo without CP. I think I tried one with CP when I had around 160CP total and was able to clear most things but couldn't beat the boss, but that was a while ago so I'm not sure.

But I know other people can solo them. I've sometimes asked someone from my guild to help me with one when I needed it for a quest or just wanted to clear it and they were killing everything so fast I barely had time to tag enemies.

So (like most things) it depends on your CP, build and your ability as a player as much as the intended difficulty of the content.

I've been booted a few times from group delves outside of Craiglorn for poor performance.
I found soloing a few group delves in Craiglorn to be an excellent build test.
If your build survives than you can probably handle the average normal group delve outside of Craiglorn.
Soloing group delves in Craiglorn is more difficult than public dungeons but easier than soloing group delves outside
    of Craiglorn.

The 4-man group delves, with the + symbol by them, vary but a few can be quite difficult. If you can solo normal Banished Cells and normal Selene's Web and stuff like that, you should be fine. I do remember that "Shada's Tear" was significantly longer and more difficult than the others and a real challenge to solo. The Hircine group delve has a tough final boss. I recall he spawns in lots of werewolf adds and it can get overwhelming if you are not careful.

So if I can solo normal Banished Cells 1 without dying, then I have a good shot at doing the group delves in Craglorn. Good to know, thanks. Guess I can finally get a few of my toons through that questline then and get some nirned traits.

I've been working through Craglorn on my tank this week and it's not too bad. I use Thunderbug + Ilambris for overland solo damage though, so I wouldn't recommended soloing the group delves on a tank set up for group support, because the bosses would be an absolute chore.

The only time I've really had an issue was in Shada's Tear, where one of the bosses spawns multiple Dragon Knights and if you're not careful you can be chained back and forth between them, as they ping-pong you across the room. In hindsight, it's kinda comical, but at the time it was a little frustrating because you can't do anything while being dragged, and you get like 2 milliseconds before the other one yanks you back again!
