And dungeons where other needs to free you if trapped like FG2, Wayrest 2, BC 2... Yes you might burn boss before getting trapped. All dungeons, where you need to pull two levers or two other mechanics to continue e.g. Imperial City Prison, Direfrost Keep.
Not sure, if you can kill the harvester in Wayrest, before you get trapped.
You can use psijic time stop morph to free yourself from trapped / controlled situations from boss
E.g. CoS boss trap on ground, etc
So while 2 man lever mechs are a block to soloing, trapped phases by bosses are not as anyone can get psijic ulti (assuming you own summer set)

Friday I soloed Volenfell with them.
Saturday I tried to solo Blackheart Haven with my PC EU main. Big mistake. I got all the way to the end-- after dying many times-- only to discover that Blackheart turns me into a skeleton and I'm unable to fight in that state. I might add that I'd completed Blackheart Haven twice before with my PC NA main-- as part of a four-player group-- but that was a couple of years ago and I didn't remember the part about getting turned into a skeleton.
So players sometimes ask in the forum which dungeons can be soloed. But I'd rather look at it the other way around. Which dungeons CANNOT be soloed, and why not? I'm mainly interested in the dungeons in the base game, since the DLC dungeons are (AFAIK) more difficult anyway so I'd prefer to avoid trying to solo them.
Now Blackheart skeleton phase will pass so if you survive it you can continue I think, problem is surviving, perhaps an healing monster set will work.
You can survive Blackheart if you transform into a werewolf, you can not be turned into a skeleton if you are in ww form

Yes, I looked online when I couldn't survive Blackheart, to see what it said, and the UESPWiki said that he "temporarily" turns you into a skeleton, so I figured I might be able to beat him if I could survive. Unfortunately, my character's build and gear isn't good enough to keep him alive, and the only way I can survive is to run far enough away from the beach so that Blackheart resets-- which means I have to start all over again. So I might be able to solo the dungeon in the future, but not right now.You can survive Blackheart if you transform into a werewolf, you can not be turned into a skeleton if you are in ww form
That's good to know, but none of my characters are werewolves-- yet, anyway.Elvenheart wrote: »Congratulations on starting to solo normal group delves! I've been able to solo some dungeons on my PC NA main for a couple of years; Volenfell was my first, for the simple reason that I had decided to go down the list of zones in alphabetical order and try to complete any content (except fishing) that was still needing to be completed. And since the Alik'r Desert is at the top of the list, Volenfell was the first dungeon I kept trying to clear until I was finally able to solo it.
But I haven't been interested in grinding for gear, and some of the dungeons I've tried to solo have kicked my butt big time, so I haven't pursued them much. But I do like to solo dungeons whenever the Undaunted Event is in swing, and rather than do the same dungeons that I know I can solo over and over again, I wanted to try to do a different one each day.
My PC EU main has a harder time soloing dungeons, because he doesn't have any burst healing abilities like my PC NA main does. But he actually has slightly better DPS than my PC NA main, so it's an interesting contrast. I might add that both of my mains use 2H weapons, which I enjoy more than distance weapons such as bows and staves-- although my PC EU main does use a bow as his secondary weapon.
I think that for today I'll try to solo Darkshade Caverns I, which I've successfully soloed on my PC EU secondary character, so I've worked out how to deal with the big centurion boss and its adds. I'll try it with my PC EU main first, since he's more likely to have the harder time with it, and if it doesn't pan out then I'll do something else. I'm hoping I can run the same dungeon on both servers each day, to see how my two mains compare.
Anyway, thank you, everyone, for the comments about which dungeons are more difficult if not impossible to solo.

My PC NA main can get to the final boss but then is unable to kill the boss.
My PC EU main can't even get to the final boss, because he gets insta-killed by the adds on one of the smaller bosses.
Even after the exit-lever was "fixed", Direfrost can still be soloed if you have ranged aoe and a charge ability.Anony_Mouse wrote: »Direfrost, due to the pressure plates

Learn to run. The adds will only follow you so far. This is where a sorc pet is useful. For healing and for being troll bait to kill off the adds. Albeit slowly. It can be done.

Which was, of course, the very first one that was suggested as being non-soloable because of the pressure plates. I should have tatooed it on my brain. At least I was able to collect some new gear out of it.
