There's a lot of broken dungeons. Everyone knows that! So use the dungeons that DO work for your tickets. FG1 works! The ZoS employees left the old strategy of killing K'ragh for event rewards. They know this path to tickets and left it for you! Take it!

For me this is a 6 minute process including load screens, invites and changing in and out of the ring of wild hunt. Better dps will reduce time.

Any player that can solo FG1 cloaks, sprints or even death runs to the war chief orc and kills him. Then proceed through the cave, jump off the waterfall, go to the island with the crab miniboss and kill him. Now invite 3 friends to group. They accept group invite, accept free travel prompt and then walk through the blue portal. The three friends have done nothing to this point and are at the final boss of the easiest dungeon in the game. Tickets and gold boxes for casuals and a minor inconvenience for a moderately skilled player and none of this crashing on a lich boss nonsense.

When everyone loots the boss, disband the group and they will return to the spot they were at just a few minutes ago, but with tickets and a gold box. Disbanding the group also resets the event so you can go for round 2 immediately, if you have more friends to carry.

    My first Dungeon of this event grouped me with a Healer that refused to actually do their job and subsequently got carried through vet COH2. That was mildly annoying. Your post just sounds like an affront to PuGs everywhere.

    But you're talking about premades that know each other, so, whatever I guess.

    Yeah, this post is not about pugs. I don't recommend the GF for this event. This is about decent players helping friends and guildmates get easy tickets in minutes. The game is broken in many ways and this is a workaround for the event.

      We may be splitting hairs. For the person being carried in mine, it's still easier. To carry this when you can do it, it's a pretty minimal effort.

      I do get what your saying though with it being 100% passive. That's nuts and could be done at any level with no friends or guilds.

      What is the purpose of this extra step? Just jump off the waterfall, climb up on crab island, and run across the bridge to Kra'gh's island. Clatterclaw won't follow you. And once you kill Ozozai, your friends can port in and do the same.... if they can't be bothered to just run from the entrance and help kill the goblin boss.

      FG1 is a good dungeon no matter if you use the shortcuts or not. Killing everything takes about 15 min, using the shortcuts takes about 5.

      It's an extra 30 seconds to kill it with my mediocre dps. You might do it in 20. That's faster than telling people where to swimming around and jump. I've been carrying my spare accounts and it also just seems easier for me to go right to the portal.

      It's all good though. I just don't want people getting Crypt 2 from the quest giver and thinking they need to be in a broken dungeon in order to get their tickets.

      I just run Spindleclutch if I don't have much time.

      Otherwise, I'm happy to run pledges with guildies.

      Agree, however doing nFG the normal way is easier just run an burn, then skip at waterfall is easier to set up.
      Just gotten junk from the purple boxes anyway.

      Grinding just make you go in circles.
      Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

      It literally takes 2 minutes with a half decent team. I'm sure 1 min 30 and below is possible if the entire team specs for it (running speed gear). Honestly I'm tempted to give it a go. Anyone EU PC want to break some records? :)

        That's my standard tactic for every Undaunted event. Although I would do this even if dungeon finder worked perfectly. ;)

        Long. Not Volenfell or Tempest Island long, but still a big map with lots of doubling back.

        You could still run across all the bridges, the mobs won't follow if you run to Kra'gh's cave.

        Unless they do the whole 'force port back to last previous boss,' it will be a 15 second difference simply skipping the adds that will tether anyway. About the same amount of time you'd lose if someone can't quite stick the jump at the end.

        Its short no matter how you slice it. But I like to roll all my characters through there when its the daily pledge or when you can rig it to make it the random normal. Convenience in FG1 is all I care about.

        missed the whole point of the event. Everyone is just mad for rewards and loot. I wish events would not have any extra loot in them, hardly can be called an "event". What if in each map where the dungeon is, the dungeon mobs and bosses start roaming the area and maybe even attack towns. Or undaunted enclave assembles to assault a dungeon, higher difficulty but having NPC fight along too. Don't know, stuff to spice up things. Our current events, any event, is just some extra loot only hoarders care about.

They could have required GF for this event and didn't because the game is broken. There's no need to change dungeons, just fix GF and require it.

        They knew poor Kra'gh was in for a million beatdowns when they put the loot on the dungeon boss.

        They even make a joke about how FG1 isn't a challenge in the dialogue for the quest they added this year, that takes you to the Undaunted enclave.

        it's so easy the NPCs call you bad if you can't do it.
        Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. When later asked about the experience, she seemed upset. Suffice to say, the Dunmer were not pleased to hear this, and thus they inquired further.

        I'm going to laugh when they add a mechanic to the dungeon where the last boss will not come crashing out unless you kill all the other bosses. In-fact, this should be added to all dungeons. :)

        No, thank you! SP1 is 18 seconds longer - that is a huge 15% difference over 2 minutes FG1 runs.
