TLDR: replace actual walls/ceilings with FX or just to decorate them?
I'm building a structure from scratch as well as learning how to use EHT.
So far I've used multiple solitude ornate platforms for floors. exterior walls and the ceiling, positioning them to use either the wood or tile side.
I started doing interior walls and didn't like having the 'tiled' floor joining with the 'tiled' wall so I went look for wood textures or planks in EHT.
I found 'Pilaster carved torch' which is great aside from struggling to get to match the color or be in balance with other wood I'm using (the wood side of the platforms and Alinor and vampiric furniture).
Then I realised I could use the Pilaster alone as a wall *but* there is no collision detection - you can just walk through the FX 'walls'.
So for people who use EHT and the FX in creating custom structures - to what extent do you use them?
Just to decorate actual walls made from in game furnishings or as a complete replacement?
What about ceilings and rooves?
