Question about quality

How can ZOS sell a game upwards of 180 USD(dlc/yearly costs?) That quite litterally does not run, does not deliver what they advertise, but can set up events/promos/streams/art contests/housing/new chapters/new cash shop items/new classessteadily, bring the game down within 24 hours when people possibly got free crowns, yet I have read there are still bugs from years back going on, I myself can not seem run certain ones, i notice my stamina only comes back on roll/bar switch, im in town or a field but in combat, and i keep freezing/crashing. Is this just whats come to be accepted as "normal" or is this just a rough pafor the game and its generally not like this? considering trying to get my money back idk

I totally agree that the current state of the game is worst its ever been.
But I also understand why they don't do much about it. The answer is simple, why should they. Anyone who has experience in running business knows that if money is flowing in more than ever, it means they are doing it right. Why fix something that ain't broken. The game is broken for players but business is not broken for Zos. More people are playing than ever and spending money. As a business owner why would I pay my money to upgrade hardware, hire more people etc. just to please some random kid who cant pvp properly. I dont even know this kid. It's like giving my money away to someone for no reason. Zos is not some non profit organization. And people keep playing regardless if they fix it or not. The numbers speak for themselves. If I was the CEO I would fire the person responsible who tired to spend any money to just please random people.

Changes are only needed if revenue is decreasing, currently it's the opposite so all good. Sorry people it's just business.

I realise that, I guess im just a romantic and would assume they would improve it to further increasee profits if not just for the fact of havung integrity.....Ha....integrity in these days. Made myself laugh. I think i got my answer though

Creating maintainable software requires some discipline and time. Cut corners and the result will be a nightmare to update and fix.
