How come ZOS never does any more events like this? I think it would be really interesting to watch

Could you please explain the "like this" for those of us who do not watch random videos people share on the internet?

ZOS did a trials competition at Quakecon in 2014 between two guilds to see which one could clear vAA faster. You could've seen that from the video title, though.

I do not believe this game is in a state suitable for competitive play.

Pockets of streamers and people come together for events akin to this form time to time - which is really exciting! - in a effort to get this beautiful math put into competitive play... buuuuut archaic infrastructure.

I appreciate the summary, as the title doesn't show up for me on mobile.

That would be a fun event if performance allowed. Right now, ZOS might find it more embarrassing than exciting.

The winner would just be the team that has fewer members crash to desktop. It would not be a good look on the company.

Crash in the wrong trial and it just becomes a waiting game for players to stand on pads to progress the trial and less about how efficiently they can kill mobs and bosses.

for whatever reason titles do not show up for me either. not on mobile - desktop chrome, but all I see is youtube play button. no video description, no thumbnail, nothing, just a button on a white background.

something to note, so that when next time someone asks for a description, they are not deliberately trying to insult you or anything like that, they genuinely do not know AT ALL what that video you are linking is, as it doesn't show up for them.
