Why didn’t you take a new character through Greymoor? This is the approach I’ve been taking with different chapters and I enjoy it.I do have a main that I’ve done the most on, but I don’t plan to go through every chapter with them and almost certainly not PvP.

Players know there’s an inherent grind baked in before they even purchase a MMO title and click “play”.
The best advice is forget about achievements and enjoy the content. ZOS has said (recently) they’re not doing class change.

It is just how achievement systems have wired us to be. Do we _need_ all achievements on one character? No, it is just cosmetic like anything else. But there is a desire to be able to look at a single scorecard/list and "see" everything completed right there all at once. No different than using an addon that shows you your inventory across all characters. Could you log on to each character one by one to see who has what? Sure. Is it easier to just see everything from one character? Absolutely.
I have never seen anyone ask for this, making wayshrine *discovery* account wide.... rather than an argument for allowing all characters to share the achievements so that, for example, when one character has discovered a wayshrine they all have ...

It's weird that you would pick that one thing literally nobody has ever asked for to make an argument against account wide achievements.
Yep really want to enjoy playing other classes but can't.

You can. It is your choice whether you prefer getting everything on one character, want to do different things on different characters or want to do everything on multiple characters. If your derive more enjoyment from getting everything on one character than you would from playing different classes, that’s your choice.

Sure, but skyshards, quests, and skill points are an enormous grind that you have to replay yet again. Not worth it really.

Exactly. It's your personal choice that pursuing some high "achievement score" on a single character is more important to you than, I dunno, having fun playing a game? You clearly don't want to "enjoy playing other characters" more than you want to 100% your achieves.
(which reminds me, I really really don't understand the whole XBox "Gamerscore" subculture - the idea of playing games & genres you don't even like, just because they will add to this 'score' is just baffling.)

That’s because it isn’t punishing... personally I prefer collecting achievements on my main and when I log onto my alts I don’t even think about achievements unless I’m going for specific titles on that alt. I never understood the obsession some people have with account wide achievements since having achievements already unlocked on every character gives you less to look forward to and strive towards on your alts.

maybe but at the end it is hard to enjoy o play single class for years just to have every achievement on this character
sorry but I like to have completed everything what is possible in game and sorry but you will get burned finally after playing only single character nonstop to achieve this, I would want very much to play with variety of skillss, classes to use but yet Im stuck on this single because I want to have everything complete
if I atleast could change class of my character......but at the end we are with possibility to create in total 18 different character and yet are we stuck to play single character only because an players group like to complete acheives in 100%?
