Can I switch my account from PS4 to new Xbox Series X?

Hi!
I’m interested in getting back into ESO but I don’t want to start from scratch again. I have a PS4 account that i’d really like to transfer to Xbox-X if possible (I also have a pc account that would suffice). Any direction on this issue would be really helpful. Thanks.

It is not possible for Customer Support, to transfer characters, gear, gold, crowns or items, between different accounts, servers, or platforms.

Our FAQ found here goes over why transfers were possible at one time in the past but are not possible now.

I think many would like to do the same. And they would even be willing to pay for copying an account. But the AIA did this only once, and then only because they postponed the release of the game on consoles for a whole year.

PC Transfers were a thing when console came out... so ... not sure why it's "not possible"??? Maybe it's just not something you do anymore, but "not possible"??
