Now that we have collections, what are you deconstructing and how are you organizing your gear? Do we have to deconstruct a piece to learn how to make it?

orion_1981usub17_ESO✭✭✭✭✭You just have to bind it. If you reconstruct an item it cost transmute stones plus crafting items for the color you wish to upgrade it too. I personally deconstructed every none gold item not currently in use. I keep gold items in lock boxes. If you planning to use a set it may be cheaper in transmute stones to recreate items rather than transmute their traits.0

There's a couple other ways you can Collect gear for Collections:
You can equip an item, and it will then add it to collections.
Or you can Bind an item. If you're on PC, you can right click an Not Collected piece of gear in your inventory and select Bind. If you're on console, I apologize, I don't know what the operation is for that.PC-NA | PvP (Gray Host & BGs) | PvE (vTrials & vDGs)0 -

I have plenty of mats to reconstruct and upgrade pretty much anything non-jewelry related.
You may want to do the same ... and tailor your keepsakes according to how easy it is to reconstruct them.1 -

✭✭Decon, research for trait, equip, or sell to NPC (and then sell enough other things so that item falls off the buy-back tab).
For bind-on-pickup dungeon drops, you can also just wait for the 2-hour trade limit to expire and it becomes bound automatically.PC NA0
