So i Just started pvping. And i was wondering why everyone plays tanky damage dealers? Would't a buff to glass cannons be in place then?

I mean im trying a dot build with malacath. Its a lot of fun, but i Just know ill never be as good as that dizzying swing x2+bb+ executie combo necromancer or dk

Always the Same classes :( : stamnecro, stamwarden, stamdk. All full health and high damage. Theres 0 Balance. No room for cool build Just meta off tank crap. Boring long fights. Always the Same skills

Why? Because people will always find the easiest way to win in a broken system.

I melt some People away. But others barely take damage and Just drain my stamina with endless defensie and heal until they seem to have unlimited stamina and kill me

Because if you not play a jack of all trades you will either be melted away by a lot of players or will be unable to kill someone. This is finding balance in a build. And because some damage combinations are so high they are broken people went looking for tank setups that still deal damage. A buff to glass cannon's definitely not makes the game more fun, because this will take skill out of a fight. Look at the current proc meta for example. Though, there are tanky damage setups that are too strong as well.

Those people you melt are probably other glass cannons so I'd ask, what exactly would you change? Boost damage and you add more damage opportunities for those that are also tanky. Actually what has happened is they made damage easier with procs so people have turtled up even more already, and will do so more as more damage is added.

Proc sets and health stacking is the optimal way to build at the moment. Proc sets offer more damage than any stat setup and require no investment in offensive stats. They also require minimal player input. So the best way to build is 2-4 proc sets all attributes in health and fill your bars with defensive skills. Sprinkle on malacath and you poison inject your way to victory. You could also wear crimson where the 5 piece might as well say: "deal a stupid amount of damage to everyone around you upon showing up. Heal for a stupid amount upon showing up, skills are for stupid people".

Its incredibly boring, but that's the meta. I actually think without proc sets PvP would be pretty fun and it would be impossible to be tanky and kill people. ZOS did a great thing by reducing general player tankiness, but then went back on themselves by introducing and buffing all these proc sets.

It might sound crazy, but how about a system where you decide between tanky or glass cannon. Like how it was for a while after they removed the softcaps.

Why not introduce a counter to off tanks? Like a class/skill Line ( like vampire) that deals %health dge

I don't remember a system for that. Do you mean low to no CP as that was introduced when they removed the soft caps? NoCP PVP is already a thing available

They only need to reduce the effectiveness of proc sets... Make offensive stat stacking an important thing for killing players and you will see health and mitigation drop dramatically.

I don't think CP really hurts the glass cannon builds, it's the proc sets that really encourage a certain type of build now. There's such a lack of diversity in Cyrodiil compared to 2014 that it gets boring. You'd think with all the stuff they've introduced it would be the opposite, but I guess when people find the thing that works best, it's hard to do anything else without seriously gimping yourself.

I totally agree with this statement.
Why would you stack offensive stats to enhance your skills. When you can just put on armor that does more damage with no stat investment and a minimal input from the player. Leaving all your stats available to pile into health and mitigation.
