Money taken out of guild bank without the guild heraldry being changed BUG

For the last two weeks I have been randomly receiving a notification in the chat that says "You spend 1,000 gold from your guild bank to update your Guild Heraldry" during random game play. I have not changed the tabard since it was first created and do not understand why this is happening as I am the only one with the ability to update/change it.

✭✭✭✭✭My first thought is: is it actually costing money from your guild bank?
My second thought is that if it isn't, this looks like a faulty add-on message. Markarth launched about 2 weeks ago, and you might have a bugged or out of date add-on.
Are you using any add-ons? If so, when you turn them off or update them, does the messaging continue?1 -
Lady_Titania✭✭✭These transactions do not show up in the bank history and I do not check to see how much gold we have per day. I've been in my inv, AFK & at the guild store and this message has come up.
I do have addons and am constantly updating them. I can try turning them off to see what happens.
The problem here is that it is not everyday that this message appears, it is at random and I need my addon's turned on when I'm playing seriously.
I do believe that this error is happening because of the Markarth release, just not sure how to go about fixing the issue.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭This happened to me the other day as well. It did not remove any gold and there was no record of any change or charge in the guild history afterwards.
I believe it’s an add-on issue similar to the one where you can be told that clean items are being confiscated by guards or set items are being turned in for writs. That occurs when you’ve put items in your bank or otherwise gotten rid of them and the add-on misses that fact.
For me the heraldry announcement popped up after I used my personal banker and then sold items to a wandering NPC merchant. I wonder if an add-on missed the money or items I’d deposited and printed a false notification about heraldry as a result.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Well, if its an addon issue, you'll need to figure out which one is causing it so you can see if the add-on creator has a fix or even knows it's happening. Perhaps you could use a process of elimination to figure out which one.
If it is indeed an add-on problem, ZOS isn't going to do anything about a fix. You'll have to talk to the addon creator, use a different add-on, do without, or put up with the error message.Edited by VaranisArano on November 16, 2020 1:03PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I have a strong suspicion as to which add-on it is in my case, but I wouldn’t want to toss around names without the proper testing—which is, alas, much easier said than done with 66 Latin final exams to set and grade in the next four days.
I also don’t know exactly what triggers the heraldry change text in particular, since I don’t get it selling to just any NPC vendor. That will make it more time consuming to replicate.0 -

It was LUI-Extended in my case. The add-on specifies that this was fixed in the change log.0
