3'rd morph for class based skills

Since ZOS removed Crystal Blast from the game, how about giving classed based skills a third morph where you could have Crystal Blast make a glorious return. It's a royal pain to kill trash mobs right now, especially in Craglorn. What used to take a few seconds can now take up to 20 seconds. I shouldn't have to use several skills to make up for one. Sorcs have no direct burst damage any longer and it's making playing magsorc in PvE a burden instead of being fun.

Either restore Crystal Blast or implement a third morph but only for class based skills, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! It feels so clunky right now with having to use several skills to make up for the loss of damage of a single skill.

New skills and morphs are generally dedicated to new content, @pleximus. Chances are good we might see another class or skill line for the next Chapter.

Don't expect a lot of players to share your opinion that Magicka Sorcerer is lacking burst ... because it isn't lacking burst.

They removed Crystal Blast in favour of a stamina ability that practically no one uses. I've NEVER had Crystal Weapon in my death recap in pvp so when is it supposed to be used if not there?

I'm also referring to direct burst damage. I always laid it up perfectly for all of the burst to go off at the same time like a bomb. There's no need to "repair" what isn't broken. There are probably a couple of thousand people who play the game on each platform and I've heard many complaints about it being gone. The only ones looking down on us using the skill are the dps obsessed players. Not all of us want to play vet trials.

Use lightning clench if you run lightning frontbar, or spam wall of elements on backbar if you have the kaboom morph.

PS, I use crystal weapons, it is pretty fun. (Tank and dd, pve)

Remove all morphs, bring in spell crafting.

@pleximus Crystal Weapon only reliably works on ranged builds (so Bow, basically, if you're a stamSorc) and the meta PvP weapon is 2H.

Knowing that, it makes perfect sense that you haven't died to Crystal Weapon unless you have been fighting against some exotic Bow/Bow builds in BGs.

On the topic of trash mobs and grinding in Spellscar, just use Daedric Tomb and finish them with Mage's Wrath.

Impulse may be a good choice now, if you run Lightning Staff. It increases damage per enemy hit, so all you gotta do is spam it. If you combine it with another DoT AoE, you should be able to get rid of mobs even faster than before.
