Wise people of the forums. Anyone knows what's the reason for error 334?

So for quite a. While now (ever since they patched crownstore, didn't have this issue before that when update dropped) every time I have loading screen, there are 2 options. Either it loads in 3 seconds, or I get booted from the server with the next screen:
unknown.png

Thing is, it happens a lot. Enough to make me try logging in averagely 3 times before I even manage, and then at prime time also crush once in a while when I change zones for any reason.

So ye, anyone knows reason/solution?
PS updated drivers and reinstalled game. All the same.

And yes. Did try all the answers in the QA section.

The issue is something is interrupting your connection with the server. Do you have any problems with other things online?

And by Q&A, do you mean the support page: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/52137/kw/334

That pretty much checks everything other than your connection. You can call your internet provider and have them check the line to see if there are substantial packet errors. If you can get the server IP from ZOS, you can always tracert to see if there is an issue as well.

None. I guess I will try to reinstall my internet drivers since I am getting the error when using both networks available to me (hotspot through phone and router)

I've gotten this error a couple of times in the last week or so, and when it happens I'm usually doing a couple of other things on the internet on my iPad while simultaneously trying to log in or switch characters in ESO. It seems like there's a momentary traffic jam so to speak as multiple programs are trying to send and receive data at the same time. I don't know if that's what's really happening, and the text of the error ("lobby" connection?) does sound weird.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

When this happens for me, resetting my ESO firewall exception allows me to re log in.

I get this a lot when trying to do battlegrounds. I am pretty sure its just an issue with this most recent update. I haven't done a bug report but we should probably do a bug report cause there seems to be an increased amount of crashes lately.

Hey, did you find the solution for your problem? I have the same issue and I was not able to fix it even with support assistance.

Same. If I go to my second monitor to browse the internet while I wait, I'll almost always get that error.

There are a few possibilities. When looking up that error code online, it shows there is a connection error for some reason. Now I'm not really sure what exactly in the update caused this, and it might only be fixable by ZOS. But here are some suggestions to try:
**PS: Let a professional do this unless you know what you are doing!!**

1: It could be a computervirus, some interrupt internet connections. Or send so much data, that your connection is dropped. Make sure to scan your computer.

2: Make sure your router can handle the load of gaming(plus everything else), and that the router is functioning well. I've had broken routers in the past which dropped the connection for no reason at all. Also, make sure the router does not run too hot. In my opinion for gaming/streaming I'd get a gaming router with ram on it, so it queue's what it cannot send right away. And replace it every 2-3 years.
Another way to make sure your router can handle the load is to restrict the amount of data per device.

3: Check your router settings and make sure it does not discard or drop packets. Or cause packets to loop, as loops build and cause connections to fail after some period of time.

4: This is very very unlikely to happen, but make sure there is no interference near the router or cables. Like other electronic devices or power cables near your router/data-cables. On older cables magnetic fields can interrupt service.

5: Go through your windows and webbrowser settings, and stop them from collecting data. As that uses some bandwidth.

    Hope this might help!

Have you checked your firewall setting and TCP/UDP ports? There should be more information on the internet regarding that subject and ESO.

Not sure if relevant, but for me it fixed connectivity problems in the past.

Did and did one of the ports is used on the router as internal port so I didn't manage to add it, I guess that's the issue. Really sad that some routers will not work with the game.

And it is a new error, Introduced in Markarth patch, so unless it is relevant, rip.

@damtotb16_ESO Hey! I found that using a different provider (I am using cellular network) to play works. Also playing during non prime time instead.

Look. Look. All you have suggested is basic networking issues troubleshooting. I assure you, that from all the games, and internet services I use, only ESO is making problems. ESO does not eat a lot of data at all.
Don't worry I scan my computer.
Router can definitely handle the load of being streamed into on 2 monitors (which is much heavier use than ESO)
    Router settings are fine.
N4 is just silly I am not gonna even give an answer on that.
And 5 is also silly cause again, because amount of bandwidth is really 100% not a problem.

For anyone thinking that ESO needs a lot of bandwidth, I can summon @Sylvermynx , if I am not mistaken the person, I think she is using metered satellite net to play, she can give us insight about the amount of bandwidth ESO takes.

Which, as a person that plays on cellular thanks to Markarth, can confirm.
