No double boss item drops this event? That's very stingy of the developers

I understand why you devs are running this event. A lot of big game launches, PS5/Xbox launch this weekend. You want player retention. But an event with hardly any worthwhile rewards is not going to keep players.
Thanks for the effort, but this event is not going to stop me from playing my PS5 - a "double everything" event where the most important "double" - double loot drops- is not there? Are you kidding me? Unless you want to hotfix double boss drops in .... then I might drag myself from my PS5 back to ESO and spend lots of crowns in the crown store. I still need to farm Blackrose, Maelstrom and Vateshran.

I think we need double boss damage, double siege damage, double jump height, double dodge roll distance, double food duration, but not drinks... never drinks. Also a double cheeseburger.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭This isn't an "event" event, with event tickets and typical event rewards.
It's just a very short "mini event" event, and seems a bit like an impromptu affair rather than anything planned in advance.
Taken as such, I think it's a nice little gift for the weekend.
I mean, heck, IIRC several of the regular "event" events don't give double XP, which leads to grumbling in the forums-- so that alone should be reason for those grumblesome players to celebrate.
And most events that give double drops from nodes limit them to the nodes in specific zones. Now we can get double drops from any zone's nodes, which should also be reason to be thankful and celebrate.
Personally, I'm more interested in the double drops than the double XP; it sounds like this weekend is a good time to farm for those zone-specific style mats that drop in some zones. But I know that a lot of players do relish getting double XP, and I have several sub-L50 characters myself, so maybe I'll try to level them up a bit-- or maybe I'll just focus on finally hitting CP810 on the PC EU server.
