What’s with some content being stam/melee unfriendly? I’m specifically talking about the last boss, my main cause of death was the shade collosi blocking the shades/chain adds. what am I supposed to do, boss summons 2 at the same time right when the chain begins. Before you ask I hit 75k on a 21 mil, no hate pls ;-;

It is a real example that 75 on atro works only on atro ;)

But if it is hard to breakechain, you can avoid it depending on yourclass skills.

Or you can skip them with DPS.

What class do you play ?

    I skip them:
    https://youtu.be/35I3SzdyrzE

But you can use shade on NB to teleport to it or streak on sorc.

Or try some jump to target out of chains ability.

Some classes can survive in explozion in ultimates.

And you can try to kill mob with range skill spam it is only 200+- k hp

I play a stamplar, my health overall wasn’t too bad, the ring helped. It’s the chain and collosi that really messed up my run, they blocked the shades and I got one shot

Collosus spawns on her hp or if you damage them standing in chains on the edges. If you slow your boss dps you can kill them first before second spawns. If you cannot AoE the cage shades I guess you need to tab-target them or be a templar spamming jabs/sweeps.

I use relequen, deadly, and Selene lol.. I got it to 3 percent at some point then the shade mechanic and collosi happened, r.i.p

If its <10% just burn boss. No point doing the cage, whatever the phase. If its not 3rd phase, shades will dissapear and explosion will charge.

i finished the arena on my 4th try with the trifecta achievement on my magplar (melee), i dont say that to boast, i say it to tell you its doable

colossi spawn every 25% of her health HOWEVER if you manage to do damage on one of the colossi that are chained it will become hostile + she will summon another colossus when she reaches her threshold. so be carefull not to hit any of the chained colossi while you are dealing with the chainmobs. dont be afraid to use your ult on one of them.

or as some one else pointed out, focus the colossus first, then go back to boss again, but that is only realy viable in the first 2 stages IMO, because there will be to many adds in the third and final stage, i would recommend using ballista ult und her in that phase and try to bring her down ASAP.

It was the final phase, I started to panic lol

If she is under 10%- hp after it ends her skill casting she stops chain mechanic and start new one.
If you use bow you can try to la +snipe shadow, it will need near 10-seconds.

But it is more simple just dps boss and skip them.

For me there’s 2 ways to do final boss depending on how safe/good dps is.
1st is just go round a kill each of the colossus adds and ignore the boss until all of them are dead. Then burst the boss and go to portal. You will need to deal with the wall/ring adds as well and likely get an archer or mage add.
Alternatively you just burst the boss and drop ult from around 50% and ignore everything, this should also allow you to miss the wall/ring adds.

Once in portal main aim is to kill add and get out whilst boss is around 30% health so you can just burst her again before any adds/mechanics happen and repeat.

Last round is like vma in that it’s annoying until you clear then becomes the easiest fight of the arena

^^This. Be proud of yourself for getting that far and come back to it when you're ready. I look at it the same way I did vMA, we're putting in the time with every wipe and as you progress to another phase you've accomplished something. I'm personally up to phase 2 now and while I'm not clearing as fast as others, I'm progressing and learning the fight and what works for me and my toon.

Reading people's comments here has helped with lots of little things I just hadn't considered. I think I'll clear relatively soon (for me changing my jewelry to infused and slapping a stamina recovery glyph on has completely changed things - wish I'd done that earlier) but it will only be after I put the reps in. The arenas are kinda like practicing a foul shot in that you do it over and over again until eventually it just clicks. Once it clicks though it's there and you wonder why you ever considered it hard.

When you start fight on last boss, ignore her, and kill the collosus one after another 1st and then you dont have to worry about them at all, she doesn't spawn any new ones at 75/50/25%. The only time you'll see them again is once you come back from portal phase, usually bellow 39% recovered boss health, there will be 1 collosus and above 40% will be 2. When you come back, shade and chain mechanics will immediately follow, focus on that and then pull the collosus on top of other adds with the boss and burn them.
    Rinse and repeat twice more....

I did it on Stamplar a few days ago and it indeed seems a lot harder to get through the tether face than on a ranged spec, mostly due to all the aoe, adds and visual noise involved.

I was able to skip the mechanic a few times due to burning the boss down to execute range again quickly, but when I was forced to get through the tether mechanic, this is what I did:

    - I took a moment to select the add I was going to attack. It can be tempting to just hit the first one you see, but it pays off to take a moment to choose an add that's far away from any adds. The adds may still get in the way, but at least you'll have a few moments to attack it uninterrupted. I also tabbed the add to keep a good visual on it.

    - I applied dots (in my case arrow barrage and razor caltrops) directly in the path of the add, and then proceeded to hit it with jabs while walking backwards slowly.

    - If I didn't succeed in burning the add quickly enough due to too much aoe, adds or visual noise, I resorted to hitting it with my ulti (flawless dawnbreaker). You ideally want to avoid this as it's more useful to use either on the boss or in the portals, but if the choice is between using your ulti and dying, it's obviously still preferable.

It's obviously no guarantee for success or the only way to do it, but it helped me get the boss on my third try on this character.
