Vateshran Arena Grappling insta-death and clunky animation

When you grapple to the bull boss in Veteran Vateshran Arena - you insta die quite often to environment damage, here is a video proof

Also grappling is very clunky because toon sheaths weapon before grappling whereas void portals usage is very fluid because toon does not sheath the weapon as they are using it. Would much rather prefer void portals in here over grappling,

Wow, grappling has yet to kill me. Did that happen multiple times or just bug out once?

I was farming throughout weekend and got it 2-3 times. My guildies had similar issue.

I've instead died several times from the lava-protection wearing off way too early -- like it fails to apply properly and I just go out and die in the lava about 15-20 meters from where I started.

I would hate for either of these to ruin a no death run. >.<

Just released on PS4 and it’s a buggy mess. Dying from using grappling. I was fighting the Titan boss and died, no problem. Respawned outside the gate and instantly died again. Like a DOT was still on my character. The second death wouldn’t let me use a soul gem or revive at wayshrine. I had to completely close out the game and relaunch. Fighting the Minotaur boss, grappling sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. Bashing the mages, sometimes works, sometimes bounces you off the cliff.

The arena is already challenging enough. But way harder with bugs like this.

Im yet to die from the glitch OP mentioned but had something funny happening to me on Pyrlord boss. Somehow I skipped the trash mob+Gatekeeper mob right before boss by dying very close to the blocked gate itself and when I took the wayshrine option to res, game put me inside the blocked entrance, and after that the moment I take 1 step, ill insta die. At the end I gave up and ported to arena again and then could go in usual way after clearing the gatekeeper.
