How many transmute crystals did you have squirreled away?

To avoid crossing the limit of 200 transmute crystals -- I was actually at 187 -- I left larger containers of crystals unopened in inventory. After the recent patch, I opened all the geodes and Anniversary Boxes I'd been keeping with 10-25 crystals each (plus a couple of smaller ones that I'd kept by mistake). That got me up to 592. I still have 35 unopened 50-crystal geodes from 2 Midyear Mayhem events. So I guess that puts me at 2342 crystals overall.

Not sure what I'll do with them all, but I sense some Rings of the Wild Hunt in my characters' future town gear, to go with the 5 pieces each of Jailbreaker that they already wear.

I just wish the Ring of the Wild Hunt lived up to its tooltip and increased mounted speed.

I was at 200 when they raised the limit. When I finished opening all of my saved random daily single-crystal geodes I was at a little over 300, and I had a lot of free inventory space! 😁

46, and have earned 0 since the new sets system came in .. and that right there is a fatal flaw in the system, and the reason why many people will find no use for the system.

Currently at 987/500 after transmuting everything I wanted, and got roughly 7,2k left in the "50 transmute geodes" ones.

At least this whole new system is an improvement so far, and makes the crystals more worthwhile

I love it that we can get 10 transmute crystals now by just doing a random normal daily. It gives us a new reason to do random dailies. I used to only do them to level a character. I just wish the queue didn’t take so long.

I probably have a couple of thousand crystals locked in geodes. It is not like I needed to open them as we get plenty if we are active in the game.

None bc I play different roles and ZOS is constantly changing things, so I had to constantly transmute gear in addition to transmuting gear that dropped in bad traits. I just gave up after awhile.

Ive always just tried to keep the stored amount below the 200 limit. Sometimes I have kept containers for a while until I had a chance to transmute items, but inventory space has generally always been tight so that was not a practical long term solution (another issue which has in part been improved with the next patch, I understand).

If we can now simply keep as many crystals as we like, this is an incredibly positive development.

(on console so nothing has changed at present).

I was initially really excited for the new sticker/transmute system. Mainly for inventory management purposes. I had 57 of them. I thought they would increase significantly the number of ways to get them in pve. I'm really not seeing that - aside from random normal...... Sad about that

System is pretty simple, you have an item with an bad trait like training, you go to an transmute station select item and the new trait like infused select transmute and item is in new trait.
I find it very useful. New system is more complex but also more powerful, for one you can make copies of items you have including stuff like ring of the wild hunt.

I was at 1250 or so -- 25 unopened 50-crystal boxes from pvp. I had been as high as 40 of those but i'd been using them a bit more since.

@Sirona_Starr transmuting still costs 50. So I see no reason for you to complain, unless you deleted your previous item... (Especially since running the dungeon/opening few more chests will fill up the sticker book letting you do it for less crystals)

We've increased the number of Transmute Crystals you can earn from most PvE sources, including Undaunted Pledges, LFG rewards, Trial Weekly Quests, and Arena and Trial Leaderboards. We've also increased the number of Transmute Crystals you can earn from the Battleground Leaderboards. As part of this, we've removed the small chance of obtaining a single Transmute Crystal from simply slaying the Final Boss in a Dungeon.

We'll be monitoring how Transmute Crystals are obtained and used in the coming months, as well as your feedback, and may make additional adjustments to Transmute Crystal sourcing in the future.

What?!? Really? Great, I've farmed 2 of those rings for my thieves and have no desire to do it again for my 3rd thief. Awesome.

0. Any excess over 200 I just destroyed if I didn’t have an immediate need to transmute items. I saw no point in wasting space saving them when I PVP everyday and get a bunch all the time. I’m at 200 now, won’t take me long to get to 1000 I’m sure

I have a habit of spending my crystals when I approach the 200 limit so when the cap got increased I found myself only sitting on around 120 something odd crystals.

Just over of 300 on all my characters and had 200 in the original "bank". --- Transmute crystals should never have been rolled out with the low limits, and now I am thinking that the current limits are not really that good.

It just makes the sticker system irrelevant regarding freeing up storage. If I do decide to wear a set, there is NO WAY I can recreate them re transmute crystals - yes, I know the NOT AWESOME places they increased the drops in pve. Anyway, in my inventory they stay

Thank you for illustrating my point. Trials, Arenas, Battlegrounds, Random daily dungeon. WOOP DE DOO....... NOT. I'll just keep stuff in inventory, and write the off the sticker system as useless to me.

Did anyone else notice geodes (the ones that have 50 crystals) were changed to be white with only a single geode? Ive noticed a few like that on some of my characters but nothing in the known pc issues post?

Had a few characters with 10+ of these geodes which were gold yesterday and are now single since the patch
