You kill bosses for lead I believe

I spent 2.5 hours so 50 minutes isn't too bad so far.

It's poor game design. And they know it.

The Bad Hollow lead drops from Bosses not trash mobs.

Just base yourself at the three-way branch between Skitterflame, Bloatgut and Bloodcraw. Then go from one to the next and once timing is right, each should be ready to respawn as you get to it on rotation (unless others break in).

Took me about 25-30 minutes doing this and I got the drop.

I am willing to bet the op is talking about the latter, seeing how that item was released a few days ago.

Yes, I was speaking of the Wild Hunt lead.

But with the Pale Order being the new one, I guess it would makes sense Feather may have been looking for that one.

The trash mob drops don't require grouping (or have any additional math for doing so). Just run a rotation alone (or follow others) that hits hi-density areas. Keep the kill rate high and just keep pushing... the lead will drop eventually.

I know it sucks that some of these seem to take a long(ish) time to drop (and the ones that are pieces of a whole do take a bit longer), but they're not really meant to be found instantly.

These are meant to be "Mythic" items!!!

Some of these items (like trash mobs, fishing, etc. drops) aren't HARD to get (any level one can kill a trash mob), so they make these kind of drops more time-intensive, to make them feel they have some sort of weight... to be considered Mythic!

Anyway... sometimes taking a break and coming back later is all that's needed to get through these kind of grinds.

I tried it two times. The second time I found it after about 45 minutes and killing a lot of mobs.
That dungeon is just to small for it with too few mobs. That grind is pointless, stupid, boring and a real waste of time.

i went 3 times in bad man hollow, for a total of 7 hours to get that lead... their is not enough mobs... or percentage is too low... when you run all over and find only 3 mobs to killed its painful... we were often 4-7 people killing in the zone...

for me the lead drop from the snake just before the drop off

im happy i finish it...

Took me 2 and a half hours to get mine. Keep farming it will drop and its worth the work. This item has breathed a lot of enjoyment back into the game for me

I must be lucky, when it comes to lead.

I needed 20 mins in bad man hollow.
The worldboss and the delve boss needed 3 tries both.
The first chest in bangkorai contained the lead.
And when I got to the table, I saw several players huddled around it .. I saw the scroll, I approched, took my time, and just took it. No one batted an eyelid.


Now, to be fair, the thrice accursed piece of the music box that drop in thieves troves DID cost me half my sanity .. heh

I think part of the problem is that the public dungeon itself is probably one of the least populated by mobs in terms of mob density. Yes, it's a Mythic item and yes it shouldn't drop like candy.

However all it takes is one person to really screw it up for another person. Why they specifically chose this public dungeon and not the one in Rivenspire where the mobs are more densely populated as well as a larger dungeon entirely, I don't know. But Bad Man's Hollow, pardon the pun, was a pretty bad choice. There's not even much there tying it to the lore until I'm able to view the entire ring's codex entries and they even broke that.

I also feel you there. There needs to be something more than just mindless button mashing and mobile gaming than what they're currently doing. It's gotten so bad that I just decided to reinstall Skyrim. At least I can fix what developers broke there.

Yes, the hard drops for me tended to be delve bosses, fishing and worst the safebox lead for the gold music box part I still miss, most has to open hundreds.
World bosses, public and group dungeons was fast. 6 times in darkshade 2 was worst I think.

A few others are also problems spent a lot of time trying to get.

simply because its tend to drop from the chests from treasure maps at Khenarthis roost who is also for style pages.
Might be other sources but Khenarthis roost is an starter island and don't have bosses outside a few one time quest bosses.
Problem here is mostly that furniture can not be sold.
