The silent mag nerfs.

Mag skills are designed to be cost 300~ compare to stam skills. With minor magicka steal nerf to 168 instead of 300 (which translates to around 135 instead of 250 magicka per second) magicka takes a hit compare to stamina in any group that doesn't run hollowfang (already 1 support set that stamina groups don't need to bring).

Which means it hits:
Un optimized trial groups.
Dungeon groups.
Solo play.

Please balance mag skill costs after nerfing mag steal.

    I agree that a lot of the content is just not built for melee (vAS, vCR, vCT) but with relequen buffs, ranged la nerfs, mag cost nerfs, we should see stam groups pretty soon for every other trial.

    The sustain hit for ele drain is pretty noticable.
    I don't much enjoy it but what can I do.
    They buffed potion recovery but 40% of poop is still poop.

    But since the patch Ele Drain doesn't even applyto dummy's so can't even test it properly.... (Submitted a ticket on it)

    The nerf to ranged LA's is somewhat of a compromis, but then you have someone like Templar's who is basicly in melee distance, but get the penalty of a ranged build.... And yes you're at a huge disadvantage in melee range compared to range. This game is hugely unbalanced in terms of mechs for stam (+ templar) vs Magicka builds.
    But then again they need to unbreak the LA weaving...

    Then you got random nerfs to PVE tank buffs and debuffs but a huge buff to penetration nobody asked for.

    Honestly, this patch is a huge mess.

    I do enjoy that I don't have to hoard gear sets anymore do.... That's something.

    Maybe they want all to use False God's Devotion and the like. The ressource gain of these trial sets got buffed, right? 2400ish per kill now, was it?

    Anyways, the way they go with this patch is away from old play styles, especially away from too much dominace of mag DD in literally all aspects of the game. Maybe thats a good thing.

    And that Templars get no love is a different problem, independent of general Magbuild viability.

    People will adopt. Or opt to quit. :#

    Magcost didn't increase, but both regen buff increase and we lose a bit on ele drain.
    If anything that a direct buff and made you less dependent of magicka steal which is nice.

    You really gonna tell me you're jealous because stam got like 3% more ? Really ?
    Stam in PvE need love, this patch is good for them, hope we gonna see a bit more of them.
    Doesn't change the fact that mag comp will always be the easy way to go.

    What stam needs in pve is less dungeons/trials that screw them up cause mechanics are anti melee (uhm stone garden ahm). Sustain wise they are Infront of mag even on previous patches, dmg wise, they are around the same (if not a bit better).
