Which Addons functionality would you like to see added to the game next?

We have had a few addons added to the base game, like multicraft, and now inventory search this next update.

I wonder what people would like to see next?

For me there are 3 main ones:

1. Dressing Room:

This addon allows you to switch your gear(worn) and skill layout with a single button press. You can have a ton of different "loadouts" you can set up.

It also recharges your weapons automatically, which is pretty neat.

I like to play both pve and pvp on the same characthers, and any time i have to swap between the 2 its just way to tedious, even with this addon, having to remorph skills, redstribute attributes, set correct cp etc, after doing this 1000s of times it just gets annoying. So maybe if they ever add this addon, they could impelement some kinda of multi-spec feature. I dont mind paying the gold fee for swapping all of these things, but having to set them manually, is just too much.

For those who want to immerse themselves by going to the shrines, they could still do it.

2. Invetory Inisght

This addon indexes the inventory of all your characthers, and your bank/craft bag, and allows you to search for items, even when you are not on that specific characther.

I cant tell you how often this saves me from having to change toons too often.

Even helps me make sure i have all my crafting surveys on my main crafter for gathering later.

I can only imagine how tedious it must be on console to have to manually search the invetory of all your toons when looking for specific items. Yaiks.

3. Combat Metrics / Foundry Tactical Combat

Both of these addons provide additional data on your combat performance, like how much damage your individual abilities do, what % of your dmg does a certain set account for( pretty neat for procsets), you have combat logs, floating combat text.

Its absolutely incredible when trying to create new builds, as the amount of data we are not usually exposed by the default UI is pretty staggering.

I know Eso-logs exist, but both of these addons, and especially Combat Metrics can run laps around that.

Imho Combat Metrics is what ESO-logs shouldve been in the first place.

Honorary mention: Unboxer

A simple addon that automatically opens all containers (or you can assign a hotkey to this function).

Wheter you farm telvar stones in imperial city for Herb Bags, or do daily writs on 18 toons, this addon is so incredible, no longer you have to manually double click all containers, after handing in writs i can simply get on my horse and run to a merchant, and my containers will have been opened by the time i get there. Massive time saver.

So what about you guys, which addon would you like to see next?

problem is that functionality of such addons, included in the game, is very limited.
For example: "new" guild store tool is still underperforming comparing to AwesomeGuildStore. You can't search motifs you don't know, you can't search via "text search" etc.

I really don't understabd why there isnt smh like dressing room in game. With so many builds and sets it seems that it s a necessity. Devs at some point noticed it and made CPs somewhat easy to change (ie no looking for right shrine) but they never fixed the rest..

Craft store is good too. Although I understand that fast writ crafting might be considered as bit like cheating, but tracking recipes/traits you know with in-game menus is just. .ehhh

    Same for motifs

    + awesome guild store

Ill be honest i have addons for most of these things, like AwesomeGuildstore, so i dont even keep track of what the base game ui can do.

Thing is, if its in an addon, than ZOS can implement it clearly.

Lazy Writ crafter is the only reason i even do writs. I know theyre adding some functionality to the crafting interface to make crafting writs easier, but they cant make it easier than having to press E next to the crafting station XD.

    Assisted rapids

Although not the work around the addon does.

A proper horse bar that will change back when dismounted, even in combat. Also summoned pets do not despawn when the mount bar appears.

    Skills:
    Rapids
Stealth (unlocked in DBH) as part of the existing passive, but now, is granted when slotted (which it always is if unlocked). When used, it lowers detection further.
Caltrops - Maybe. Not really interested in mount combat with current engine, more defensive than offensive really.

Doesn't need anything else. Although it future DLC were to add more, I'd say there should be no more than 5 mount skills.

Honestly after the rapids fiasco, they should just remove rapids and make base horse speed faster.

The skill could be reworked to be a group movement tool only with no effect on horse riding.

Still find it stupid that pve players have to do pvp in order for their horses move at an acceptable speed.

Imagine if you could only unlock flying mounts in wow by doing arenas or mythic dungeons.

    Yeah..

None, in that I don't use add-ons although on PC and have no need for the examples given by the OP.

None also in the sense that I wouldn't want any add-ons incorporated into the base game unless they met two criteria - they must be optional and they must have no adverse impact on performance.

Not an add on but you should be able to pull gear from any character, bank or chest from the character youre logged in with. This would be the biggest QOL feature.

I don't know if such addon exists, but i would like to have a fuction that would "show" crafting items I have in my housing storage, during crafting / using crafting station. I still would have to go back to my housing storage and retrive the crafting mats, in order to use them.

For example, lets say I want to craft something in certain style. Now, I don't have that style mats in my bank / invetory, so I can not do it. But wait, the game is hinting, that I have this motif mats in my housing storage. I would like to see something like this.

Pet Dismiss. I wish everyone could dismiss their pets as easily as I can. Yes, I know how to dismiss pets without an addon but Pet Dismiss offers a convenient level of simplicity that, for me, makes the difference between 'can't be bothered' to an easily developed one click habit whenever entering towns or crowded areas.

I realize this is your defacto response in all of these types of threads, but leaving out the word "addon" since you have a clear aversion to them do you think ZoS could make any improvements to the base UI or do you think the base UI is perfect already?

Further, do you think the new improvements being implemented today makes for a better game or a worse game? Would you turn off the new inventory search if you could, or the ability to see what you have to craft for writs while in the crafting screen which is another improvement starting today?

Yes i know about autorun. I mean sprint is not a toggle like on console. Im sure if i was to use controller on pc, it would work, but there is no toggle sprint feature on pc keybind settings
