PVE delay on skills, server delay and AI slow to react (DD,s and Tanks mostly)

Dear community

Lately, since the last maintenance, I've noticed a small but noticable server delay on my skills.

This is very noticable when tanking - Adds are slow to react to taunts, chains fire with a delay on them and are slow to target properly. Desync happening on blocks..
On my DD I notice I sometimes have to spam the same button multiple times for it to fire the skill, a small delay mess up some of my light attack weaving timings, and it sometimes won't target heavy attacks properly (might even stop the animation).

I have yet to experience it on my healer, but I wouldn't be surprised if healers may feel some delay aswell.

Performance seems to have really taken another hit lately

Anyone else experience this?

    I found other issue , mob heavy attack desync .

    HA landed me when the mob heavy attack was still charging .

    It's really a big problem seriously especially in hard contents .

    I have seen this. I have also seen where I taunt the add - the game register the taunt is on him, but the add ignores it, cleave a team mate and then "register" the taunt and comes back to me. Or bosses who stay in animation and won't turn around..
    I also had a strange bug where the add was in "heavy attack" animation the whole time until it died so I would just hold block not knowing when it would fire.

    And yes I agree on higher content it's a huge problem.

    There is one specific add in Kyne´s Aegis that I usually taunt 3 times in a row before starting to move to stack it because the first 2 taunts dont do anything most of the time. Perhaps somewhat related too: on Sunday my group and I had very laggy trial instances reappearing and we had to go instance fishing for 15 minutes or so.

    I've been noticing this sort of thing for several weeks.
    Actually a couple months probably.
    It seems like you can't use skills fast/close together anymore.
    When I try to spam skills, it seems to create an extra delay.
    Super frustrating as a tank.
    Is it part of a global cool down thing?
    Combat feels "clunky" now.
    Before it use to feel smooth and flow, even if I was crazy smashing buttons too fast.

    I have noticed, on my tank in damage setup I have Dawnbreaker as ult on my backbar...there have been multiple times I have popped Dawnbreaker, the animation starts, and then I need to block for some reason and doing so will completely cancel dawnbreaker...no damage, no ult consumed, just completely cancelled.

    I wont even mention how messed up block has been lately...most times its not significant, but I can remember one time lately I was in vCT on HM and it caused a group wipe because it didn't register block.

    Same issue with delayed taunts others have mentioned as well...been having to chase ads a multi-taunt them occasionally...they are acting like Zel(I think that is the dog's name) in vMHK(you tanks know what I mean)

    It hasn't been consistent, but I am really dissappointed because in hard content I am having to perma-block a lot more than I used to...just to be on the safe side.

    I have noticed this on XBoxEU as well. I thought my controller might be in need of replacement...

    Not really a problem overland, but in dungeons it is quite obvious. I am having a lot of trouble getting the skills to fire before the boss/mob has moved off from where I aimed.

    Possibly related to higher population due to the event?

    That said, the game/servers should be expected to handle such things as the event was planned well in advance... we didn't get a surprise Witches Festival all of a sudden.

    Cyrodiil was atrocious performance this morning, at an off time, with no populations locked and with 3 second mandated lag on most skills all at the same time. How does performance degrade with 3 second mandated lag on most skills same time?

    Sounds like you need some AOE CDs and recourse timers in all PvE as well

    Some skills on the PTS are bugged and lock your abilities for a bit longer, so we might not wait that long until we get cooldowns on live server.

    lol the problem is the server themselves. Can't hand the traffic and all the flashi animations they put into the trial and dungeons. (and from player skills)

    I have noticed this as well: it's as though when you go into block fast after other skills before a boss hit, you're in risk of the block not registering, and it's safer to not do anything right before block, if that makes sense.

    Also, I've noticed what the OP describes, with both inner fire and pierce armour, they recently started getting delayed or are unresponsive.

    I don't know if these issues are momentary lag or there's indeed cooldown calculations messed up, but it's very frustrating for harder content, with one-shot mechanics.
