Would you like to be able to marry NPC's in housing like in Skyrim?

Can we have the same concept of marriages like we did in Skyrim ? The partnered npcs would walk around, act as banks, give us some gold or random items they find , etc once a day ? They could also follow us around like how the merchant or banker does during gameplay , but it's your preset character instead which adds a lot of personal creativity to showcase! Maybe using the motifs you learned or costumes you've unlocked?
We can customise NPC's and their appearance and what they wear . They could have more dynamic and interactable emotes and whatnot instead of just walking down a a preset path nodes which feels brain-dead tbh.

What do you think ?

I would only be interested if they were well-developed characters that you had interactions with over time and developed a relationship like in Dragon Age and SWTOR or even Ahnassi from Morrowind.

So I heard. I don’t see the appeal. What did they add? An NPC for your house? Well, that I’m glad that ESO is adding (houseguests that is) and hope they continue to increase the available options and what they can do! :)

"Thank you for fetching me that ore. Oh, I see you wear a necklace of Mara. Does that mean you're interested in marriage? Because I'd gladly marry you straight away, despite only knowing you for a day!"

Just please don’t make it an achievement or a trophy.

That’s the only reason I did it in Skyrim, because there was a trophy for it, and I did it right before I finished the game.

oh hell yeah. I think it would even suffice if the NPC spouse didn't do anything materialistically beneficial for the player inside the house. they would just make the house more lively and that's pretty good on its own.

I'd be very happy with this. I usually play my characters from a roleplaying perspective, and develop side stories describing the relationships he forms with many of the NPCs.
For example, my Sorceror, Telvanni Morgha Kul found himself infatuated by Sergeant Seyne up on Bleak Rock. I spent the time writing up how he might have tried to get her attention, how he followed along wherever she went, up until she disappeared after being at Ebonheart (never did figure out where she went from there). It would have been pretty nifty if he could have won her over and made her is wife, just as a personal side story.

No - not like in skyrim. If they had stories and love arcs like in dragon age, yes.

I do think this is a lovely idea, especially for fans of the single player games. Bring on the nostalgia! LOL What might also be fun is quests for these companions...even if at the end all you get is a token that then allows you to spend money in the CS store to acquire them!

I think Darien is too busy serving Meridia. And who could think of tying that lovely lad down in marriage? LOL
