I miss heists/black sacraments

I mean I know I can still do them, but once I've obtained everything I wanted for them there'sno point in repeating them forever.
I wish the newer DLCs had something like that, small quests where you need to think and have a stragegy instead of just zerging and killing everything on sight.
did you enjoy them? why or why not?
would you like to see newer DLCs have something like that?

I love heists and black sacraments. I've always thought it'd be cool if they could add additional heists and sacraments using some of the new assets from all the content that's been released in the last four years.

I think you're forgetting a few special drops from Heists for the upcoming "sticker book" Item Set Collection, @craybest.

Remember that Bahraha's Curse (heavy/medium) and Syvarra's Scales (heavy/light) only drop in Heists and the main Thieves Guild Quests.

However, those set pieces are still required to complete the "sticker book" ... which will be pretty important if you plan to reconstruct these sets or if you're a completionist type player.

In addition, the motif page prices are on the rise for both Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood for enterprising players in trading guilds. The Anniversary Event is several months removed now (which means a diminished supply of motif pages all around).

Bottom Line: A lot of reasons to still run this content ...

I can't say I'm a fan of stealth in ESO, but I did enjoy the concept of short, instanced, solo, daily quests.

The problem with this kind of content is it's aimed at a very specific build archetype - namely stealth builds.

For example: I loathed doing this content on my Templar. Yet they were a breeze (and fun) on my speedy Night Blade who can spam invisible at will. So how much you enjoy content like this is probably going to depend on what kind of build you are playing.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I saw that one of the Hew's bane antiquity furniture leads drops from Heist reward boxes as well? There's a bit of initiative there (at least until you get it lol)

These set pieces also drop from chests, thieves' troves, and delve/world bosses.

What I'd like to see are unique quest lines per zone for the TG and DB, utilizing the outlaws' refuges and other DB sanctuaries.

The reason Taleof2Cities made that remark is that chests, world bosses, and similar sources will only drop body pieces of those sets in a single weight, light for Bahraha, medium for Syvarra. The coffers from one time quest rewards and heists are the only source for those pieces in other weights.

Back to the central topic, though, I agree with the OP that it would be nice for another zone to have some kind of repeatable content that focuses on challenges outside of the usual. Personally I would prefer something outside of stealth, but I'm not quite sure what it would be.

Strong disagree from me. I really dislike both of these and counted myself lucky when I came to a point where I thought I'd never have to do one again.

If they removed the timer, however, and made it more about being cautious and methodical and less about beating a clock, that would probably make a big difference to me. But that'll never happen.

Heists, Black Sacraments, and other similar endless repeatable quests is what I was expecting when ZOS gave us the Psijic Order. Instead once you're done with them they just kinda.... sit there. Also we have no quests for the Antiquarian's Circle outside the like... 2?

Seriously ZOS, I wanna interact with these guilds and organizations as much as the Thieves Guild an Dark Brotherhood! You got close with the Dragonguard but once again its just dailies and no endless repeatables. Greymoor could have introduced Werewolf and Vampire stuff, but alas it will remain a dream...

As long as they are not required to progress the quests, they are actually pretty fun and challenging.

I'm yet to complete TG and DB because they were locked behind those things and I have 2 accounts in 2 platforms with almost 2k CP between them.

    But yes, they are fun.

Honestly, I wish they would do a Thieves / DB guilds 2 (and maybe MG and FG as well) DLCs. They were all made in a time when ZOS though that active skills in DLCs would be P2W.

I bet they could come up with some pretty interesting Sacraments and Heists if Thieves G and DB had the same freedom as Pjisic Order with active skills and such.

I'd love to do more Dark Brotherhood contracts but the game play experience sharply declines with how many loading screens you have to go through:

    - Wayshrine to Gold Coast (loading screen 1)
    - Enter Sanctuary (loading screen 2)
    - Leave Sanctuary after getting contract (loading screen 3)
    - Wayshrine to area where contract is located (loading screen 4)
    - Wayshrine back to Gold Coast after killing contract (loading screen 5)
    - Enter Sanctuary (loading screen 6)
    - Leave Sanctuary (loading screen 7)

7 loading screens for one measly contract.

When servers have been recently rebooted and hamsters are well fed and healthy, I do not find that a problem. I have system and applications including ESO on a SSD. Those are pretty affordable. (However a SSD helps nothing when servers are sinking in a tar pit.)

I did enjoy heists and sacraments for a while but got bored of em. The time limit and slowly oozing stealth breakers in a maze hide and seek just does not have lasting replayability for me.

Since most of my characters are not vampire anymore and the Ignore the Movement Speed penalty of Sneak is gone for them. I have found the use of the wild hunt ring and invisible potions that work for 15 seconds at a time make doing the dailies much easier.

I agree it would be nice to add a new map to thieves’ guild/dark brotherhood at least once a year. As far as new Contracts in new areas this probably will not happen as they only stick with the base game for those.

    I hate timers

Give me a mission, with parameters, and let me go do it without it being 'a race against time'

Thieves Guild turns into 'Oh, they saw me ... I'm just killing everything '

Sacraments turn into 'where the duck is this guy ? He was right here last time. '

These would be fun if not for the timer.

    IMHO

Heavy and light pieces only drop from heists. I've made over 15 mil so far during Stonethorn farming heists.

I have leveled up TG and DB on many alts because its lots of skill points and you get the pasives who make it less likely to draw agro riding. And because the skill lines are fun. Back then I was new I farmed the heists for motifs.
Stopped then the TG / DB event dropped the prices a lot :)
