I can't place chairs or couches etc. in this home anywhere and have them functional. Is it just these or just me or?

I have trouble in other houses too. Floors with tile seem to want to place objects on the grout level, lol! Then you can’t see rugs at all.

If I place objects, then use the precision editor to raise or lower them a bit, they turn green.
