Magicka Sorc, question about light attack damage value.

Hi
I have a problem with my light attack damage value.
I am 600cp mag sorc.
I have maelstrom lighting staff, on backbar, full siroria armor, rest mother sorrow. All gold, one weapon infused with spell damage, second precise with fiery weapon enchantment.
I miss 2 divines on my armor, shadow mundus stone and have about 60% critical chance.
Basically I have similar setup as most mag sorc I have seen on youtube.
While I parse I get about 40k DPS, it's not much, but still learning.
But I noticed one thing, most of the parses I saw have light attack average damage value about 20k or more.
While in the same time my light attack have about 10k damages. Only once, and I don't know why, I had 17k when in dungeon.
But all the time there is 10k (on dummy and in dung), how they made 20k? so double my value. If I had 20k then my dps would be about 60k, which made a difference.
I put 25 cp in Staff Expert which gives me 15% more damages, should I put there like 60cp? Or maybe something else?

kossaSoul ShrivenI guess you have a fire staff frontbar?
Because those youtube-guides have fire staves on both bars. And LAs of fire staves hit harder (like x1,5 or so). Just add up the percentage of your LA of fire and electro.0 -

Just look at your raw stats in those parses and the crit damage. Raids do 4 main things. They buff your raw stats (warhorn), they buff your crit damage (major force, also warhorn), they buff sustain (not really relevant), and they buff your penetration. Looks like you are way under the pen cap on those dungeons fights. Not exactly sure how pen works on a raid dummy TBH.
Mostly, you are critical hits are doing more damage, and your base damage is higher because your max magic is higher.0 -

You can't parse on a raid dummy and then go and pug a 4 player dungeon and expect to get the same numbers.
