I did it. I got a Max Resource to 50k

No Pet Khajiit MagSorc wearing Mother's Sorrow, Bright Throat's Boast, and Ilambris. Slotting Inner Light, Bound Aegis, and Meteor on the front bar. (Back bar is another Ult so Max Mag is at 49k on there). I'm just pretty peachy with myself. People have been stacking their Magic that high and higher for a long while, so I feel this is like a sort of pilgrimage for me. Best part is I didn't have to sacrifice anything crucial to my build to achieve this, other than the couple percent of Crit from Zaan's. I get to keep this number permanently in my play, so that makes me happy.

I just like big numbers.

so u rater wear a completly useless monster set in pvp(if its not pvp i have ni idea why u have 50k mag this would be much waste) rather than something usefull than zaan?

Let me be first to say 50k is nothing, I personally have over 70k! Joking! Just stealing the thunder of some poor bloke who is bound to diss on you.

I bet I could get a lot closer to that running full infused gear with Necropotence and Bright Throats, plus two different monster sets with a max mag 1pc bonus each, AND a Race with a better max magic passive. What I'm just happy about most is I can have the 50k number while maintaining the build I regularly play with.

I think the way divines mage mundus is, it gives as much mag as infused on big pieces and more on small pieces. Infused small pieces are almost always bad

Nice. Wondering if your 17K health makes you more susceptible to being one-shotted. Absolutely not raining on your parade, just curious. I ran a 48K magsorc last year that I dropped down to 45K to get more health because some of those "not one shot one shots" were climbing into the 19K damage range

Im assuming that this is buffed with food/drink?

Id love to see/hear some tool tip numbers for the mag skills, with that amount of mag and reasonable spell damage as well.

Why would you use Mother's Sorrow in PvP? Use Crafty Alfiq, slap on Malacath, wear one piece of Domihaus. Profit. Don't even need to waste slots for Inner Light and Bound Aegis to get to 50k.

Yeh, I'm using Spring Loaded Infusion to activate Bright Throats.

With fully buffed spell dmg my Crushing Shock has a tooltip of 3,176 and 3,303 for the shock dmg portion. Crystal Frags is 11,483 and Haunting Curse is 13,672 with 6,689 AoE dmg. Shooting Star is nearly 20k with 5,971 DoT.

Granted i didnt have my weapon glyph procced in the img, so my Spell Dmg is actually 2,995. If only i could have 3k with just Crit Surge going...

Ahhh i forgot im also using the Mage Mundus. Is why my Spell Dmg is this low.

As someone who plays in the 15-20k health range it's fine. Just learn to dodge roll, block, and keep your resistances up. Only time going full glass cannon really becomes a problem is when the tank dies in veteran dungeon content or in PVP during a DPS race!

I tried a different setup by going Apprentice mundus and purifying bloody mara for a max health-max magic drink. I lost about 3k magic and didn't even get my spell dmg to 3k. Decided it wasn't worth it.

It really makes me feel different now. A solid 50,000 actually gives you the sensation you're stable and can do a lot with yourself. My Sorc already wasn't troubled with sustain since I rotate with Heavy Attacks but now Magic Regen is a non-issue just because of the sheer resource pool to draw from. I may not be a DPS power house but I'm like the energizer bunny.

On a slightly related note, the build I use for my StamKnight gives me a fully buffed Weapon Dmg of 5k.

Sad I can't get a higher Max Stam to go with it.
